My father bought a fiat 2300s coupe a second hand from dusty Springfield in the 60s and I believe it was the earls court motor show car of 1965

The Holden was a retrofit by a private company The ford was a factory built The overlander Holden was a brilliant thing !!!! As was the XY ute !!!

Got a mate with a couple of these they were originally built by Arthur Haywood, the Overland Motor Company.

If its an original its called a Holden Overlander. I beleive that there were around 12 or 1400 of them converted into 4wd in the 70s at a place in Lainceston, They also converted Holden Panel vans as well . There is plenty of info on google about them

Legend claims it will fit in the trunk of a P76.

Pitty the hub caps are hk premier, and all brougham model had painted grey n silver hub caps that really set the look with the chromes

Beautiful car! It’s missing the Pontiac shaped indicator light in the quarter panel. I wonder if this was a ‘67 that’s been converted to a ‘68? Or if the quarters were replaced with ‘67 quarters.
