Finally was able to dyno my foxbody. It is a 351 SBF Windsor with an Eagle 408 Stroker kit, Vortech T-Trim on 9psi. 686hp, 658tq 716hp, 692tq (35 shot n20)

Just out of curiosity, why did you choose brake clean over gas, gas being too volatile?

You can run A/C with the Microsquirt? I didn't think it supported that.

Ive had a Micronsquirt for like 5 years. Finally got a 5.8 to use it with. Cant find the adapter. Have to buy a broken computer to take the 60 pin from

No, it does not. It runs of speed density and uses the MAP sensor to know engine loads.

Yes, I can remote tune it. You will need a laptop and a timing gun. The rest I can do remotely. You can purchase the micro from EFI Source website www.efisource.com/wp/shop/microsquirt-for-1986-93-ford-5-0-mustang/
Are you able to help with megasquirt tuning? I can’t even get my foxbody to start anymore once I changed the KPA settings.
So you’re using your stock o2 sensor for the input to the ecu?

Hello, I've connected my AEM AFR gauge to megasquirt. The readings were totally off. It keep showing 20 on megasquirt on idle.
check your output wire. Some of the newer models require you to also use the second ground wire to make the circuit work.

it had a 9:1 comp ratio. Was on a Stinger Pimp XS at this time. Later changed to Holley HP
When I bought my 90GT it had that same A3M ecu which I read was only suppose to come in the 93 models. My car had no bolt ons or engine mods and when I took the ECU out it look like it was never touched, odd.
what was the pulley combo on that ti?
Going off of memory but 6.87” crank and 2.95 blower. The combo later changed to 8” crank and 2.75 with a YSI

Yes, that is correct. This ecu can be tuned without a MAF. That seems to be the prefered method.

Good vid, I think I might look into the Micro. Sounds like maybe that ole GT-40 tubular intake whistle...mines doing the same thing and coupled with chasing a real vacuum leak was givin me a headache.
Oh yes it’s a good option. The whistle comes from the throttle body most of the time. Some like it while others don’t. I’m neutral on it.
Oh and by the way, that plug and play harness, since mine is a little Ford Ranger, do they make that same plug-in for my ECU? I can't find any information. Thanks in advance for your time and a great video
What year is it? I got this one from Mike at EFI SOURCE. He might be able to put something together for you.
@@1frankglz 94 Ranger 2.3. I am having crank but no start issues that just came out of nowhere, so I am getting rid of the OEM ECM. I noticed the plug looks exactly the same, though I may have more or less pins at 60.

The microsquirt was added to tune the car. Everything else was kept on the car.

@@Arcturian1111 To tune the car and optimize the modifications done to the car. The stock ecu would also need to be tuned but he chose a standalone ecu.
No intercooler? How long would it last like that daily driving it? Wouldn't the boost have to be quite high and therefore intake temps dangerous at that power level?
It's been going for 2-3 yrs now. As IAT temps increase we pull timing from the tune. You can add methanol injection to aid in this as well.
Im not surprised. the power of the almighty b303 cam will do that.

@@1frankglz do you do tunes through email? I had the Mirco on my Fox and had it running well but was just never happy with the idle. I ended up going back with the stock ECU and Pro-M mass air for 30lb injectors and it runs good. It would be nice to go back to Mirco one day tho since I have it. My set up is 87 302 stock short block, E303 cam, 180cc Promaxx heads, ported GT40 intake and 30lb injectors.

What ecu does it have and is it setup speed density or mass air?
It is tuned with a Microsquirt ECU and set up with speed density
@@1frankglz do you offer remote tuning? I'm installing a microsquirt on my foxbody and would like to get a tune to get me up and driving so I can autotune from that point. About the same setup as this mustang in the video, 42lb injectors, vortech v1 s-trim, e303 cam with 1.7rr, stock short block, ported gt40p heads, tfs intake, 75mm throttle body. I would like to get it done asap if possible, thanks.

Its so impressive to see this. In AUS most would stress at 500hp flywheel on a 5L windsor. Goes to show what a good tune will do.

I know megasquirt is kindan expensive but is it really worth it. Cause my dad recently got me a 93' mustang gt and i wanna let some shop tune it but they told me they tune it only by megasquirt.

It was an out of the box NOVI kit from LMR. No Intercooler is not a problem. I pull timing as IAT temps increase.
