I have a small collection of wooden spools in my laundry room. I'll have to show them to you sometime. Nice haul. Looks like it was a good estate sale. You flipped through the box of individual sheet music pieces. You went by one for "Evergreen", that was the first song that my first husband and I danced to at our wedding. I had completely forgotten about that. He passed away last year, even after all the years we were apart, losing him broke my heart. Hugs, Joanne

Hey I appreciated your video and wanted to ask how the bugs were during your trip? Planning to go this weekend and that was my only concern other than the wind blowing 10-12. Thoughts?

When I was 12 my mom took me to the LV on Bloor Street in Toronto. I had my fake LV from luxrul on my arm and thought I was cute. The sweet sales ladies let me try on a bag and a pair of heels knowing we were not wealthy and couldn't afford to purchase anything. It as really nice. No one seemed to care I had a fake bag and I felt special. They even gave me a paper shopping bag which I used as a lunch bag for weeks after! :) Who cares if people don't have real ones? I'm 30 now and ironically, although I can afford them I still prefer real people with fake bags than fake people with real bags. Just saying :) (not that everyone who carries a real one is bad or vice versa.) Just means I don't care if people carry fakes.

If folks want to help the hurricane victims, I suggest donating to the Red Cross to help those in Western NC. When I went through hurricane Andrew in Miami, the Red Cross was a God send to me and others. The English officer picture and the globe would look great in a Dark Academia room. You picked up the table that I was interested in on the first day of the sale. I learned about including candles in my candlesticks from watching someone else on YT so I really can't take credit for that. I can't wait for the flea market at Gresham this month. Hi Heidi, lots and lots and lots of wonderful goodies !!!! I saw the booth at Gresham Lake on Facebook and it looks so awesome. Loved the Miss Madison sighting. It is really great news to hear that Dixie now has power, that is always so hard to deal with. My daughter lives in Rutherford county and works very often in Lake Lure, I was able to hear from her late Saturday, that area is going to take such a long time to even be close to a new “normal”! Her community is working hard and pulling together, these events usually bring everyone together. Hello to Steve, take care 😊❤

I absolutely love the English officer print - my house decor is very traditional, and he would fit right in. So would the beautiful foyer table. You can use museum wax or museum putty to stick the hurricane glass pieces to the sconces. That might keep the glass pieces from breaking. You found some wonderful pieces!

Put the bent up compass in a baggie with one of the protractors - every school kid back in the Stone Age when I was in school always had to have both. Back in the day, Old Spice men’s products were sold in boxes like the wooden one at Christmas and Father’s Day.

Essential items are always useful and needed. Patina/pa-ti-na pronounced puh-tee-nuh.

We visited Antiques at Gresham Saturday afternoon, I got The Illustrated Everyday Bible Companion book, one of the beautiful prayer cards to frame and Wilson said that you the booth display’s are awesome. A drafting brush? I think. To get the eraser pieces off the draft paper. My husband took classes in college. His draft kit had a brush like that one.

I think the ET book came out right after the movie - so the book was probably based on the film, maybe not the other way around. You can probably get the musty odor out of the camera case by putting a little fabric bag filled with baking soda in the case after you take the camera and accessories out of it. I’m so glad you decided to rescue the needlework piece - a gentle soaking will clean that right up. I’m a stitcher, and I know how much work went into creating that piece, and it’s good to know it has a second (or third) chance.

I love walking on the beach and finding pieces of shells and whatever pretty thing that catches my eye. Now I need to go back to Galveston!

That hanging lamp would look great in Kaitlin's library if she had a place to hang it from the ceiling. I remember when hotels had keys. The picture of the boy and the bunny is so adorable. The owl from Dixie is beautiful. When I was a kid back in PA, we used to find arrowheads and Indian tools all the time in an area we called 'the piles'. It was such fun. Your boat shaped bar set is a martini shaker set from Crate & Barrel. It’s listed for resale on several sites for around $50. And the candle snuffer is for trimming wicks - when the wicks are trimmed the cut off ends fall into the little box rather than on table linens or a tabletop.

Hello Heidi, I have been watching your videos for a while now & I love old things & going treasure hunting for them. My favorite bird was the beautiful blue 💙 bird 🐦 !!! My daughter & I live in Asheville, NC & last weekend we went to the antique store in Biltmore called Sweeten Creek Antiques & Collectibles & it is huge & we didn't finish shopping so we will go back soon !!!
