Just out of curiosity, why aren't you mentioning the cameos of established mutants from the comics all over that Daily Bugle cover, as well as the Marrow poster on the pole to the left of the shot? As much as everyone loves being reminded that the Spider-Man cartoon exists in this world, I think it's just as interesting that we're seeing mutants from the late 90s, early 00s and beyond.
You’re right, at the time of recording I hadn’t caught that Marrow poster on the left so good eye! And I forgot to go over the mutants on the cover but like you said it’s great that even mutants that debuted in comics years after this series ended are still able to be brought in.
That reference to Eddie Brock in the newspaper is curious since it was said that he would become an anitheroe but there were not many that if he returned the one who managed to escape from limbo was the green goblin

the art looks ok but lacks on detail, i dont like the super bright coloring, seems like they are creating a product aiming to childrens, all the comics adapting the x-men tas always have the same problem, hope the writing its ok at least
That’s fair, but I do like that it goes that bright and purposely looks different to the rest of the comics. Like you said though really hope the writing turns out great!
@@X-MenGalaxy agreed, i just wanted to point out that everytime marvel readapts the x-man tas into comics (from x-men adventures, the secret wars ones and recent house of xcii) feels like something is missing

Not in terms of something contemporary like X-Men as a whole, but people's expectations never match what was essentially accidental genius from 20 years ago. I'm going into X-Men 97' with low expectations because nostalgia goggles can easily obstruct one's views
@@solblackguy i recently finished the x-men tas and i really enjoyed considering some of the plot hole that its has... the series feels pretty consistent until the end of the 3rd season after that its kinda fall apart, most likely because of the production schedule problems. in general x-men tas and the comics of the 80s or 90s of the x-men didnt felt that different, in that sense the writers really capture the spirit of the ip, but x-men changed alot since then i dont know if they are going for a 90s style approach or a more mature kinda storytelling looking at how the x-men evolve in the comics (not exacly for the best)

I think Disney Plus should also do Spider-Man animated series from 1994 too because in the final episode Peter Parker/ Spider Man with Madame Web went on the search to find the real Mary Jane after that the series end with the cliffhanger, so I think Spider-Man animated series 1994 should be revived just like X-Men 97.
I feel if X-Men 97’ is a success than it becomes very likely, which is why they included the little nods to Spider-Man as we already see in this trailer.

This week, comic fans have been pissed off about what's going on with Rogue and Morph. Honestly, I don't care. I'm too excited to watch this series after waiting for 3 years. Mutation has always been the key to evolution and has remained dormant until now. X-Men for life!!!!! ✖️
