Been woth the game since 2016 on ps4 ive had breaks but this game is something i enjoy playing but have zero friends who plays it and knows as much as me which sucks. It is almsot impossible to introduce it to peolle because its such a pay to win. I mostly play killer cause of that. Maps are getting smaller but gens are popping so fast now. I played a game of survivor and we three popped gens at the same time as a pig gets her first down and she dcd and completely felt her pain lol. I've played killers I never thought I would before like hill billy is at a fun spot and oni is a killer I thought would be too complex but he is a strong killer and killers should feel strong. I want this game to succeed and get better but the devs make it a bit hard to enjoy that but every fanbase has similar issues

It means that people will support and glaze a dogshit game that has terrible graphics, is horribly balanced, full of toxic people, and doesn't feel at all like an actual horror movie at all just because it has licensed characters from a movie they like. Friday the 13th was better and dbd is soooo overrated. (btw this isn't a hate comment i wish the best for you as a content creator and i dont mean to offend im just pissed off about spending money on Frank Stone and the fact that F13 is gonna die and ill be stuck with dbd which you can tell im not a big fan of)

4500 hrs. For me it's a game where I can be myself and alone, I guess. I always hated to play in team and rely on other people, especially in modern times with fake matchmaking which always keep you in 50% winrate no matter how and what hero you play. For dbd it's nonexistent. All depends on me. I'm slasher and horror fan, that's another key to me. Also have anger and sadistic issues, that's helps to release it as well. And dragged me to killer role. I really love the mindgame part of the game, and thrill of the chase, hunt and seek is always fresh, like in first time. This game never fails to bring adrenaline and invigoration. That what keeps me for so long is dbd's variaty. So many killers and perks and maps. And most importantly in what keeps my interest is that I'm Oni main, this character completely mirroring my nature and I enjoy his every part. Learning all possible flick and mindgame with his power is never getting boring. I started in 2021 as baby huntress, and got bullied, just as all of us of course. Then was long path of learning and being sweaty, toxic and merciless killer, mostly Bubba, until I discovered Oni at 1500 hrs in game. Then I have been becoming more and more chill, meme and emphatic to survivors. I take the game a lot less seriously, and let go many survivors in half matches nowadays. I never kill girls (unless they are really toxic and tryhard) and I never kill weak survivor. It's just sad how survivors doesn't care about kind killers, I get +reps so rarely. But when I meet strong swf and obliterate them, I instantly get - reps for tunneling :)

I've met my soon to be husband (oct 17th) on dead by daylight, how can I not love his game.

My main two games are Palia and FF14. Right now more Palia because I had a seizure and nearly died in my sleep and my partner had to save my life and because he took me to the ER he got fired and now he can't afford his sub for FF14. So we be vibing in Palia and being chill and trying to learn DBD but I'm a chimkin that's constantly scared. I don't think I have the capacity to learn a game like DBD but I'll play it for him because he enjoys it and seeing him excited to try new things and learn is a joy words don't contain. :) I feel the trauma of DBD being worth the outcome of memories with your friends and I'm glad you have it with them. :3

I really enjoyed watching this video. I think it's the novelty of this game being so unique compared to everything else in the gaming industry. No amount of experience from shooters, platformers, or fighting games will help you here. The memories I've made from DBD just feel so close and personal like my mind wants to cherish them forever which is an emotional high that cannot be recreated from other games. Like you said, it's like double-edged sword and has the potential to be really frustrating and boring or just straight up unfun. This is the one game where I frequently take breaks from and that helps a lot.

I started my journey with dbd back in dec 2017. Thinking about how scared I was to play but at the same time having the time of my life still brings a smile to my face 😄 I would say from 2018-2021 I played it religiously whenever I had spare time, and it quickly became almost the ONLY game I would play. since 2021 my playtime has dropped significantly and I would say I have a much healthier balance with other games but I dunno, there is just something about dbd that I feel will always keep brining me back. I honestly believe I will play this game in some capacity until it dies...whenever that time will be 🤘

it means everything. once i was playing the mobile version cos my pc couldn't handle it, and i were pretty good at it, until mobile got higher requirements and i couldn't play it anymore. then i tried playing on my laptop, risking wasting my money cos i couldn't go through the first screen (i had a few tries before finally loading into the game), and then when i finally saw the main screen i got rlly happy. bc my laptop wasnt that powerful, i sacrificed a lot of the graphics (i could count the pixels of survs) but yet, i was still rlly good at the game, and it made me feel awesome. i guess dbd mixed moods is also worth bringing to the equation, like friendly killers and seeing toxic ppl talk s*** abt u cos u did rlly well at the game.

DBD has the power to make someone the maddest they’ve ever been, but also the happiest. The thing is you don’t remember what made you mad, but you sure do remember the fun times. I’ve been playing ever since the Demogorgon came out and I’ve gotten so many friends hooked. Just yesterday my buddies and I played custom matches for 7 hours just rotating who’s killer and goofing off. Sure I may want to rage quit when I go up against a tunneling killer, but laughing with the boys when I make the killer whiff after a plot twist makes it so worth it.

I don't know how this video ended up in my recommended list, but it was enjoyable to watch nonetheless! Cheers, internet stranger! :D
