I feel like you are dealing way too little damage for the point you are in the game. I'd reccomend going over your stats, upgrade level of your weapon, infusions and scaling and see if something is lacking there. Midra is a very high pressure fight, so making the fight long with suboptimal damage is gonna lead to decision fatigue. Combine that with how much damage you are taking, this could (as another commenter says) also be due to too little scadutree fragments. The max level of scadu blessing is 20 so if you are below 10 or around 12 it might be time to go hunting for some of those. You are also rocking some very scant armor, so chefk your equip load see if you cant wear something sturdier so you can make more mistakes and get more time to learn. If you cant, look for talismans that buff equip load or respec your stats at Renalla's to add some endurance. I'd say your reaction speed is on point, but learning the timings while so under leveled is gonna lead to the "slamming into a brick wall" feeling you are getting. Best of luck!

Try rolling into his attacks more instead of backwards too. Dont remember which side (right or left) is better to roll to though. Bc of his moveset theres a bit of a gap in the hitbox that helps you not get hit so much

Try using dual heavy weapons (powerstancing great hammers, great axes, etc.), Hes not too hard to stagger and that what got me to beating him. Plus just learning his moveset from fighting him so many times will help

The easy way to dodge that is to unlock your camera while shes in the air and walk in a circle, it messes up hear tracking ai, and it apparently works on waterfowl too, havent tried it on waterfowl yet

There are 2 dodge only method to dodge it. The first is the one tou used. The second require more skills but is better if tou are too close (usefull for agressive gameplay)

Try throwing a frost pot when she does waterfowl dance

First phase is annoying cause Maliketh is more aggressive and bit unpredictable. However, second phase is more manageable and even easier than previous phase, the key is been close, watch their jump attacks and don't be greedy.
