My Dad introduced Acker Bilk's music to us in 1960's. I will always make time to listen to his songs, they are so soothing and relaxing. You always feel better after a session with Acker. God bless from South Africa.
I did not know it is actually a Christian Hymn. First listened to it by Cat Stevens in 1970's. Beautiful rendition by Mr Bilk. Love his tone and relaxing style, perfect on the Clarinet. God bless from South Africa.

Acker Bilk......."the king of the low-key clarinet".........In the great scheme of popular music such an odd instrument to have a commercial following. Thanks to this man people pause & close their eyes & just.......drift ........absorbed by his genius musical offerings. Tunes he plays means so many different things to so many different people. Sadly missed but grateful for the music.
