Delightful Souvenirs
Канада

"A garden is a grand teacher;
it teaches patience and careful watchfulness;
it teaches integrity and thrift;
above all, it teaches entire trust."
~ Gertrude Jekyll
Hello friend! My name is Maiah. Thank you for letting me share with you delightful souvenirs from a simple life in a small city in New Brunswick Canada.
I garden in Zone 4(b), that is considered cold! We only have over a hundred days of warm weather suitable for growing vegetables. Flowers like dahlias and peonies are mainstay in the garden; this season I planted many roses too. My goal is to serve entertaining/relaxing videos in the backdrop of flowers, food and daily life. I hope you enjoy what you find in my channel.
If you are inclined to support me, please subscribe to my channel and leave some love in the comments section. And more importantly, please share to those whom might enjoy the videos as well. Thank you so much and have a nice day!

#9 A quiet morning in the garden | Early fall 2021 🥰🌿🌷 | Silent Video
Just putting together videos on my phone so I can make room for the coming spring. Only 6 weeks left to spring, right?
I am excited to see if the roses I planted last summer would survive this winter and grow again. The garden was very satisfying last summer. Looking at the videos now reminds me of how gratifying it was to spend time with nature and be a co-worker of God. I planted, I watered, but God keeps making them grow.
Spring is just around the corner!

Chrysanthemum Tea: From Garden to Tea Cup | Health Benefits + Growing & Drying flowers for tea

Chrysanthemums are beautiful. In autumn, they are especially exuberant and heaping with flowers. But they’re not only aesthetically pleasing in the garden, they also make healthy herbal beverage. These flowers are popular in Chinese medicine - a way to cool down the body especially in hot summer days. No wonder I see a lot of tetra packaged chrysanthemum teas in Oriental groceries. I did not me...
#6 Lifting Dahlias for Storage & Fall Clean Up | Delightful Gardening Life (Relaxing Autumn Garden)

The summer went by, it was so fleeting... so it seems. Now it's time to do some fall clean up. Autumn is beautiful, with the leaves changing colors, we know that change is in the offing. The warm summer days are over now replaced by cool weather for delightful fireplace heat and cozy sweaters. While the dahlias need to be lifted for storage (if that is what one wishes), the melancholy feeling i...

In today’s Vlog, there’s a few tidbits from the garden in October. Lots of dahlias now flourish in the garden so I keep taking some of them home. There are different cultivars of dahlias, all of them very pretty. Chrysanthemums are blooming abundantly so I harvested some for tea. The second hand thrift shop also had Japanese inspired vases that I bought with pleasure. They were gracing the tabl...

You don't need the pellicle to brew kombucha
I learnt a lot. Thanks for sharing! ❤
Very healthy looking . Which zone is this and how do you keep them healthy from black spot and rose slugs
Such Beautiful Blessings 🥰🥰🙏🏻🙏🏻🩷🩷
This was Lovely 🥰Thank you so much for sharing 🙏🏻🙏🏻💜💜
More of iy next time
Beautiful and peaceful video! Thank you for the information and the relaxation :)
My heart broke when you dumped all your starter down the sink.
Thank you for this very clear description. I was considering how to go about this process so came across your film at just the right moment. Once again, thank you.
I came to learn how to grow and dry chrysanthemums for tea, and this video was so beautiful and relaxing to watch. Your flowers look amazing! How do you keep the insects away?
I did not have a problem with the insects, thankfully. The smell of the chrysanthemums tends to drive away the insects. 🤭
What is the name of the musical used ?
Thank you for sharing. I have been given a miniature rose for Mother’s Day and am now trimming it back and rejuvenating it.
Thank you for this good information!
Why is it that nobody is showing us how to make kombucha those of us who are in places where we cant buy kombucha
Thank you for this video. I have three miniature roses and now I know that I can get more out of one pot 💚💚💚
👍🏻
Mam I use only home made fertilizer?I am in India.your roses are very beautiful.
You were saying you hoped this video helped at least one needful person. Well, I'm your validater! 26 years ago I had cancer show up in a lymph node in my groin area. That led to surgery, exploration, and for caution a bout of radiation to the area. The cancer never has been heard of since (thank God Almighty), but I have battled with a messed up digestive system. It becomes tiresome - to say the least - to keep looking for a way to return to a "normal" processing system. I have been diligent in trying to solve my problem as a subsequent surgery left me with a paralyzed right foot, so becoming faster to the restroom was not in my ability. I recently tried a store made Lemon-Ginger Kombucha and found its prebiotic qualities quickly and dependably have taken care of my overactive system. I pray you do not really understand the depth of relief I am experiencing. I am thrilled to have found your video that is teaching me how to provide this life changing drink for managing my symptoms. Unless you were in the same boat with me, you wouldn't truly understand how much this means. If no other person is grateful (and I am sure that is NOT the case) be advised you have changed one mother of (5)s life for the better and we are ALL very grateful for your teaching. Thank you seems inadequate but I do so from the bottom of my heart. ❤
It was really nice to see you tenderly caring for those beautiful roses.
Girl… a pizza pop 😂😂😂😂😂
Can you help with some seeds , from all the colors, please?
And ˹HE subjected˺ for you whatever He has created on earth of varying colours.1 Surely in this is a sign for those who are mindful. (al Nahl: verse 13).
Please am asking the kombucha must be ready to add those two or make them at once keep for the to get ready together
So interesting, 😮❣️ thank you for sharing❤😮❤
Where do you get scobies ?
Hi .. can you do a review about your glass tea pot and its warmer, I think that is a good idea since I want my tea to stay warm all the time.
The music is too loud. It interferes with your voice.
I started a gardening club at my high school and we received a donation of 8 miniature roses. We are in Texas in zone 9a. When could we plamt them outside? Should I divide and keep inside until spring?
❤❤❤
I have 3 Kordes Dwarf Fairy Red in a lovely very wide but flat ceremic pot sitting near the fish pond. I grew from bare roots in mid July. They are just this week blooming 3 roses and many tiny buds. Such a delight.
Wow your garden collection is beautiful!! I recently bought my first rose shrub called Suñorita 😊 New sub! 🌹
Thank you so much for this! Loved your video: it is informative and soothing at the same time ☺️🙏🌹

The way you remembered little things and related tô each person that help you was Just amazing and didátic. I am frateful to your vídeo and The amazing way you teach in a deeper way about gratitude.
Oooh such beautiful words to say. Thank you so much. You are very encouraging. I hope that your kindness return to you in many ways. 🥰
Lovely garden. Great work! I just bought a pot of Kordana roses. I will try to separate them and see how they grown on my balcony. 😁
This was so peaceful to listen to. The sound of the opening packages and the calm music and the tea sets clinking was beautiful. Thank you for providing this content ❤❤❤
Can we grow outside and keep in winter outdoor
Im so annoyed, all the peopple who say they are making scoby from scratch are not actually doing it from scratch. They are in fact starting from a store bought. But thanks for this info.
Sorry to get your hopes up. After years of making kombucha, I find that no one has really made SCOBY from basic raw materials. The healthy-bacteria needed has to be introduced by using pre-made kombucha with live bacteria already present in it. But once you made the SCOBY, you are good for life!
Thank you for this video...does the egg shells & coffee grounds count as fertilization for miniature roses? I bought one in memory of my lil dog I just had to euthanize...and need help knowing how to care for my indoor miniature roses its in a 4' inch pot now, and took it with me to a nursery to ask for help because it had lil cobb webs on some roses & leaves found out they were spider mites so bought some spray for it. I almost used Diatomaceous earth to help keep insects at bay...but, bought the expensive Rose spray instead. I was told to move it up to a 6' inch pot next year & maybe by then it will be ready to be planted outside into a big planter which we plan on placing a small amount of ashes or some fur into the soil & placing a small memorial head stone with her pic on it on top of soil. I pray that with Love my Babygirls Rose bush will Bloom just as Beautiful as she was.🤞🙏🌬🌹 Your Roses look so Beautiful & Healthy & I can only hope mine come out looking just as great as yours! 🤞🙏🌬🌹🌹
I’m sorry about your lil dog. How are your roses? I hope that they are well and still giving you good remembrance of your little friend. I find the spider mites become a problem with keeping roses indoors. The roses need direct sunlight for at least 6 hours a day. The indoor conditions just doesn’t agree with roses. Roses can be kept in containers successfully, but I haven’t learned the art yet. I hope your roses succeeded.
Wow so beautiful 👌👌👌
Thank you.
