I remember when Ron Wright worked for you as a good guy. He was in a feud with Don Carson. Wright has a swollen black eye that seemed to last forever. Always wondered if he pinched himself or someone else did it for him.

I recall watching Ron at the national guard armory in ft. Lauderdale. I recall that when the matches were over he would bring out a chair have a seat and talk to the fans. He is such a great person.

I got to meet Danny Little Bear my childhood wrestling hero at Katz Drugs where my Mom worked at 40th & Main in KCMO. Made my day then, still does today.

When I started following the Studcast 2+ years ago I liked the descriptions of each tv segment, but over time I came to prefer the history lessons and the stuff about the business and the behind the scenes stuff. Now that the shows can be seen on stream maybe we can just have a very brief highlight of what was on the rv show instructing fans to stream uf they want more and then devote more Studcast time to history lessons and business lessons.

Not crazy about the finish for the bulleope match . When you have a stipulation match it should end with a decisive winner and not a countout

It's hard for me to picture Johnny Valiant as a baby face. I know he leaves abruptly not long after this. But Valiant eventually turning heel would have been interesting.

Does anyone know if the actual Mobile card Ron is presenting is actually the Dothan card? The Mobile card for 11/27/80 was headlined by a 2 Ring, $10,000 Battle Royal, and Ron himself (or The Tennessee Stud) took on The Mongolian Stomper. Also, the Birmingham card on 11/24/80 was not the same as the previous week's card with the 8 man elimination. It was headlined by The Stomper vs Mr. Wrestling II. I'm not sure where he's getting these cards from, as Mobile and Birmingham are in the online newspapers.

Would love to hear the Stud do a special podcast episode or a series of episodes talking about the best storylines and finishes that he's witnessed during the course of his long, illustrious career. One episode (or more) could be about storylines and finishes that he's seen others come up with, while others could be about storylines and finishes that he and/or his bookers had come up with for his own territories.
