Oh my gosh, you should have smelled them! The barking and groaning was cacophonous! We couldn't help but laugh at them.

I had to do a lot of audio editing here! We were all screaming and yelling the whole time! Such a magical experience!!

I caught Jenn watching this (again!) last night. She falls asleep watching those beautiful creatures. It's very sweet.

We're glad we aren't the only ones that thought the wildlife that day was absolutely amazing!🤯🙃😲

They are mesmerizing. I remember times where you had to get out the binoculars are peer through them to see if that really was a spout - or just a moving cloud. These two days in Hawaii and Canada the whales were everywhere and were doing such extraordinary things!

By the end of the day, I was absolutely exhausted. There had been so much excitement throughout the entire day! As we were editing, we had to cut out all of the screaming. This was special. Even Captain Jack left us saying he'd never seen so much activity by so many whales. Happy, happy heart with this video!!!

This is a video I could fall asleep to. The whales are mesmerizing.

As I was editing, I had to mute all of our screams! There was so much action, I was just throwing my camera around trying to catch everything.

Oh my gosh! Hard to take bad pics. Animals were everywhere and being so bold!

We love your hometown! The tree art was fabulous - whimsical and very creative. This part of Norway is always stunning. We're heading back this coming summer!

No shortage of cuteness! The dogs were such goers. I can't imagine how you would manage all that energy if you didn't give them a job. These are the days we remember.

And Daisy is a cute addition to their dogs 😅 these dogs are not what I would expect for sled dogs at all but they are cute!

We're so happy you found our channel! We had some pretty exceptional experiences in Alaska and Canada this summer. The dog sledding was certainly unique, but doing it up on the glacier really made it feel authentic and like we were seriously a part of daily training and the dogs weren't just a part of the tourist industry.

It was real dram! You guys are probably all ho hum, bears chasing each other, big deal. But for us, that's the bucket list stuff!!!

Eric handled us so well. He never let us feel fear. He very nonchalantly explained that the bear just wanted a better perspective. He was in no way being intimidating or establishing dominance. He could have been peeing his pants scared, but we never felt it.

Those feet!!! Such a healthy looking coat, sweet face and big feet!!!

Wow! Not sure what we did to deserve rock star status, but we're grateful for the shout out! Thank you so much!

That is obviously such good advice. I hope you caught the full video of our day where you'll get a much better sense of our distances. There was a point where two bears r chased each other and came close to a group of photographers. In this instance, as soon as we saw the bear, we stopped, gave it wide berth and allowed it to walk away from us.

We really want to thank you. Erik was superb and we wish we could give you better contact info. We will be back in Molde this summer and are trying to connect with him again. When the weather gets bad, we get to a brewery!!

Yeah, we felt right at home. And that stout...it really was rapturous!!

We really love finding a place that feels local and speaks to the community. The brewery is putting out some pretty incredible beers - and the place just feels like fun. Definitely a cool town!

That stout was a total win. We both like dark beers, Jennifer loves a Hefeweizen and Jonathan is a Pilsner guy.

@@welltravelledlife Yes Hefeweizen is so nice when we were in Munich, we had some Hefeweizen beers from Pualaner and Franziskaner

Seeing them in the wild living their lives is so different - and so cool. I was amazed at how much they were aware of us, but totally left us alone.

I love it when we can see wildlife up close in their natural environment. You guys don't have any bears at all, so these big guys are totally foreign. Jenn's always loved koalas, but they aren't really bears!

In some ways, it's a pretty simple life. Eat, sleep and scratch seems to be the norm! Love it when you leave comments here!

There's a new video coming out this evening that is a compilation of lots of our bear footage. Jenn was having so much fun with the music!

He was a tremendous man. His loss is profound.

East as compared to Glasgow, but west of John O'Groats. But it's definitely true that as visitors, we don't always catch on to how locals perceive and describe their location. We hope we didn't make any other big blunders!

This one was for the books! The standoffs were so cool to watch. The chase got a little close for comfort - but no one panicked.

This is probably our favorite video so far because it may have been our favorite experience so far!!

Our lives are so full of learning - and there's so much more to come. This was an absolutely exceptional experience. Not just because of what we saw, but just as you've noted, what we learned! This was a crash course in bear behavior for sure!!

The drone has become a huge part of our journey. We are getting to see and show a different perspective which has been so cool. Jonathan is the total drone master!

This stay really helped us see that we could live in a relatively small space and be perfectly happy. The village becomes our second living room.

Nothing's perfect but few cruises are terrible. We just got off the Regal Princess after a pretty rocky transatlantic crossing. But it was still a lovely time.
