Automated Beer Dispenser
Просмотров 12 тыс.17 лет назад
This is the system that my buddies and I rigged up for our senior design project. It dispenses beer from a keg with the touch of a button.

why dont you use that controler to activate a relay then a solonoid?

your beer foamed because you're either running straight co2 or because your keg is above 38 degrees or both. also the faucet closes too slow, there's only 2 positions for a beer faucet, open or close, halfway open creates straight foam.

I'll just post this for everyone... the beer foams because our line was too short, not because the cup was too low. We tried holding the cup up to the faucet, tilting it, etc, but nothing worked.

A few things you could do to help: Loosen the seal around the handle. This will allow it to slide more easily so the on / off action is more instantaneous. Secondly, if you don't have a flow meter and are doing it based on timing, you should make sure you have a consistent pressure on your keg and thus a consistent flow rate.

You could use a holder to tip your glass so it won't create as much foam. Still, I prefer pooring one myself. Good job!
