"He who closes his ear to the cry of the poor will himself cry out and not be heard." --- Proverbs 21:13 "He who is kind to the poor lends to the LORD, and he will repay him for his deed." --- Proverbs 19:17 "Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to do it." --- Proverbs 3:27 "only they would have us remember the poor, which very thing I was eager to do." ---- Galatians 2:10 This devotional reminded me of these verses and Jesus's example.

This is an excellent message. God sought me before I asked Jesus to save me. Many years later, after I had turned away from Christ to chase after sin, God,Jesus and the Holy Spirit staged what I would call an intervention. Almost nine years ago they started restoring me. But I've allowed my love for them to grow cold -- again. I am like Ephesus, perhaps even Laodicea in Revelation. God has been faithful despite my unfaithfulness; He has sought me unceasingly (2 Timothy 2:13). But now it's time for me to mature, to build an altar, so to speak, and to seek the LORD while He may be found (Isaiah 55:6-9). It's time for me to arise and go to my Father (Luke 15:17-19). His mercies are new every morning; great is His faithfulness (Lamentations 3:21-24). "But I have this against you, that you have abandoned the love you had at first. Remember then from what you have fallen, REPENT and do the works you did at first...He who has an ear to hear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who conquers I will grant to eat of the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God. " (Revelation 2:4-5, 7)

I'm so sorry I'm not a rich man and very tough even to support my own family but I'll keep praying for ukraine so God can give u comfort and peace in the midst of anxiety and difficulty right from public to soldiers and He will give u victory in the end and establish his glory in your country. 1. Be sure that you have a source great enough to share with someone else. A. How can we encourage someone else if we need encouragment ourselves? Therefore, make yourself right with God, making Him the source of our encouragement. 2. Try to see the best in people. A. Know their value as a creation of God and that they are loved by Him. B. Treat them the way you would want to be treated if you were in their shoes. 3. Set your eyes off of self, and focus your attention on those who need encouragment. A. This requires humility. B. Remember why Jesus washed his disciples feet?

Wow. That was good insight to burdens. Wonderful job! I would also like to add, sometimes God himself will give you burdens. A tug/pull on your heart to help a family in need, or a coworker, etc. Those are burdens we also need to listen to, acknowledge, and understand. Keep up the great work!
