Oh dear. I feel like if they had made this game just a little more forgiving, it would be much more fondly remembered. Outside of that, it's a classic 90s nes game based on a brand that has great 90s nostalgia.

@ That's awesome! I recently discovered the ability to move a lot of my physically saved games to a PC and it's so good knowing that my saves will be preserved (NES through PS2 saves).

This isn't difficult to do nor should it take you THAT long it's just a bit finicky

As someone that had never played this game before, I agree on all points. It hasn't aged well. Or maybe it wasn't even good back then 🤣 But it is nostalgic!

@RiffArcade I actually did own it back in the early 90s and it wasn't that great even back then. Lol. Needed to use Game Genie to even get past the skateboard level.

Oh true, Game Genie made a LOT of nes games a little easier to digest. Especially since my 5-year-old self still needed it on the easy games 😆

Thanks! That's the downside with playing these older games. If you wanted to know how to fully play the game, you HAD to read the manual. I mean, don't get me wrong, I loved reading those manuals.

No one is born with a natural talent for sewer maintenance, but pay someone well and they will do that job well. Of course, Plato's city doesn't have to worry about wealth inequality or market crashes; resources and private property are heavily monitored. So pick your poison!

I haven’t looked on Switch, but Steam is just as bad with the clones. I really hope the original creators of this game are still supporting it. It’s got a lot of potential, but it’s just underdeveloped enough that it’s in danger of getting crowded by clones or overtaken by the next big developer that takes the concept.

😂 Right? So I kept playing the game to see how it works, and it turns out, the game eventually is about house flipping. The jobs are just a way to get money and they eventually run out. Then you have to start buying houses, use what you learned from the jobs to flip it, then sell it for more money.

​@RiffArcade ah I see. I was about to say, all these summer jobs are just cleaning disguised as something else lol. You should do a follow-up video where you actually flip houses just for closure lol
