I looked at this mod to try something different but the videos I've seen so far make me reconsider. I don't mind a challenge but, damn !!!!! The shadows are way too dark in my opinion. Also, why do all the zeds keep b-lining to the player no matter what? Is feral sense forced on?

Tip: you need 2x, 3x, 6x the amount of production buildings you have. If you get attacked you need to be able to make units quickly. Also get those upgrades for your unit type you are choosing sooner in the blacksmith

You are on water? And didnt build a dock the whole game... could of had endless food. Also scout the map and get those relics your age up time is an advantage with HRE / OTD. Fun game though loved watching.

I love the Witch Doctor! I'm going to try this build in the upcoming season 31. Losing the Soul Shards is going to hurt, but I hope I can make it work.

Do more ranked matches 1v1 , that's the real content (and one tip; don't stop making villagers, and build a tower or 2 in your base if your NOT rushing your opponent early)

Of course your survivability is suffering when you do a fresh T16 with Squirts and no Paragon assigned. There is no reason to run Squirts on a Crusader anyway. Ess of Johan would give you way more benefit.

Doesn't weather change as day goes by? I didn't unlocked wind power generation yet, so I didn't bother at looking at the stats of the wind so far. But if you did your testing on the same day ingame. Maybe its why the wind is different from biome to biome as they dont share the same weather. But weather change (sunny, cloudy, raining etc etc). Did you test that in different weather and on other day (ingame) see if the wind speed is always the same no mather what in X biome? Altho, your testing on the height of the wind turbine doesn't have importance is quite on point. Not just to sure about wind speed not changing at all. but I could be wrong.

I'll try to answer some questions you have through the course of watching this. First one - 5:33 - Yes, railing in between the conveyor extractor counts as a surface. Most things with railings count as a solid surface. 29:45 - Yes, NPC bags will combine if they die near enough to each other. 1:12:00 - Yes, those are ally NPC's. They serve no function other than to trade. You can exchange shards for items at the one in the trailer which you did not enter. That guy standing in the hangar which only let you say goodbye will eventually be for missions, but as of yet it is not a system which has been implemented. You should replace that territory flag with a spacetime beacon as soon as you are able. It acts as a flag, with a larger radius which can be upgraded to tier 6 giving larger area each time. It's also required for doing the raid content with the NPC's, as their goal is to destroy the beacon. They will not passively attack your beacon, however, you must summon the NPC's via the wave system for them to attack it. To do this you will also need a 'creature lure' - these waves are a fast and effective way of collecting shards, especially at the early levels. Down the line the NPC's spawned by this system become rather tanky, though, so proper base defense is required. They will not physically destroy your beacon, but simply deplete its energy shield. Once that is gone the wave is lost and you must try again. Your territory cannot be 'unclaimed' by NPC's attack the beacon. For things like that vehicle factory, it helps to build a foundation for it to sit on. Same with the Pyrolizer when it comes time to build that as well. These large objects will 'sink' into the ground as they must be flat, so a raised foundation will resolve any weird clipping issues with terrain. Keep in mind as well the hitbox for some of these larger machines is considerably larger than the object itself, so plan accordingly when placing to ensure you do not block yourself into or out of something. There's a trick to the combat in this game with those basic enemies, they can be 'lured' into areas where you want them to go. Think about where you want the enemies to go, then position yourself in a way which will make them path to you. I would not use the pistol for CQC with the NPC's, I would suggest you use it as a lure by shooting them once when you have positioned yourself and then using the shotgun/spear when they get close to you. If you continue to backpedal while attacking an enemy, once you figure out the timing, it becomes difficult for them to hit you as you can back out of their attack range before the animation finishes, giving you a free hit. NPC's have to stop moving to perform an attack, so use that to your advantage. Some kind of rifle, such as that bolt action that is unlocked early on is an essential part of taking on most areas, as many enemies can be killed in one headshot if you are close enough to them. Another thing I can highly recommend is to have 10 or more simple bandages on you at all times. Passive healing is slow and every bit of extra healing is very helpful in any combat situation. Your strategy to use the ballista for clearing the mine is a good one. Just keep in mind you do not receive XP when the ballista kills an enemy, only when *you* kill the enemy. Different plants will give you different amounts of various materials. Each plants has a 'primary' resource, which is listed first in the following list. Fern - plant fibre, mucus, berries, seeds. Dandelion - Mucus, fibre, seeds. Poppies - Hops, fibre, seeds. Bush - Fibre, wood, mucus berries. Wheat - Wheat, seeds. Peppers - Peppers, seeds. Watermelon - Watermelon. Corn - Corn, seeds. Tomatoes - Tomatoes, seeds. For storage in your house, I would *highly* recommend some of the 'storage racks' under the 'structure' tech tree. They allow you to stack three medium chests on a single shelving rack, which allows for very organized storage. Later down the line they can be replaced with large chests if you should choose. The power system in this game is advanced, making use of logic gates. The game allows for incredibly complex circuits which can have many uses. From simple timers on a door, to systems which can switch power generation from solar to generator when the time of day changes. Blueprints for items will display their stats if you click them once in your inventory. It is displayed as a percentage increase vs. the base tier item. In most cases things like green walls, etc. are not needed as you will be using nearly double the resources for an extra 10-17% of durability. If you are not playing in PvP, then these upgraded structures are not useful at all outside of a completionism goal, as nothing will be attack your structures anyway. Wait until you start seeing the insane costs of some of the higher tier BP's. The end game content is not really designed for a solo player, as the amount of material griding to craft even say, a legendary AR is excessive to the point where it becomes tedious and boring. You can transform foundations into pillars by holding right click and choosing the pillar from the radial menu. This can be used to place structures in some places where you might otherwise be unable to place them, as these pillars can sink far into the ground and create a stable platform for you to place a floor on. Most building pieces have several options available. You can also upgrade existing walls, floors, etc. by holding the type you wish to upgrade to in your hand, then press 'X' until the one you want to upgrade turns blue. You must be holding the exact piece, so if it is a door frame, then it must be a door frame, etc. You can then place as normal and your wood floor, etc. will now become a stone floor, or whichever material you chose. In the early game, and even mid game it is wise to have a furnace going at all times melting down stone. Stone, when put into a furnace, gives you option for 'advanced refinement' which converts it to other materials. You can get all the materials except tungsten and titanium by using this method, and you can get them in very large amounts. It is worth it to spend the time mining stone and getting enough wood for the furnace to run overnight, as when you come back you will have many extra resources at your disposal. Later down the line you will gain access to a higher tier of this, which will give you tungsten and titanium as well. I realize there is a lot of information contained in this comment, for the sake of simplicity I will not add any more. At this point, I have over 300 hours in this game and have seen essentially all it has to offer, both in PvP and in PvE. My greatest source of enjoyment now is helping new players get into the game, as the more that play, the healthier the community will be. Should you have any questions at all regarding mechanics, etc., please feel free to ask. I will do my utmost to provide you with detailed information on your chosen subject.

To make escape routes in windows you need sheet rope it takes 2 sheet rope per level and 1 nail. You make sheet rope from cloths mostly from zombies(right click on their clothes). For a 2nd level escape rope you ll need 2 pieces and for a third you ll need 4 and so on.

here's a thought, if you are going to double loot when doing a quest. either make a storage crate or take what you loot before starting the quest back you your base. that way you wont be encumbered. just think about it.
