I have dropped the feed dogs, is that right for quilting?
no, the accufeed will help feed the layers - dropping the feeddogs is is great for free motion quilting.
I just got thru using the sensor buttonhole foot! I am trying to go back to the first 12 stitches/ straight stitch / on my 9500/ how do you go back to 1 thru 12 without turning of the machine?! I inherited this machine I'm not a computer person/ I would just like to go back to the straight stitches! Any body out there that can help with this, please do! Thank you!
Y en español? No se ha podido ocupar por el idioma, comprada hace muchos años, por fs ayuda?
The video should show the foot that is specific to the Accufeed system and how to change to it. I had good instruction from my local dealer that helped a lot. When my friend got her 6600, she got me to show her how it worked because she didn't get the same dealer instruction.
This is 10+years old model
yes some people still have this machine

I just bought a used 300e but it didn’t come with the booklet of internal designs. Is there a way I can get a copy of this? It’s too hard and little for me to see on the onscreen display.
Hey!! I have it I can send your pictures or scans of it.
Have you been using the machine I have it but I think the software is no longer available

My mom came over in the Winter and share4.photo/jSewing I made a blanket that was flannel on one side and wool coat fabric on the other side. I did not push it to stitch at a fast pace and voila this Janomewas up to the task. The blanket came out beautiful! Next I will use the button hole foot and report out to you.
Post a video while sewing what the bobbin holder looks like ... while sewing thanks
How do I set needle position to qtr inch allowance w accufeed guide foot?
Great introductory video. It demonstrates the basic steps to get embroidering and sewing, including the different snap-on feet, and the many, many decorative stitches!
Is it possible to replace the screen
What can l do to restore the original screen. I bought my Janome 300E in 2004 in UK
Please advise me, my Janome 300E Visual Touch Screen is not visible. If you view it its like it has blurred vision, like some very small cracks. In fact the scree is not visible
My wife bought one when they came out, but since she was ill, I wound up taking the classes for it. We still have it, and I love this machine! I hear it's the same as the 2014, and that fine, because if I get another machine, it will be an overlock/serger, and then a dedicated coverstitcher, since sergers lack the room to put a lot of fabric in play. ;-)
Price please
It is discontinued as of 2014, can be obtained for 600.00-1200 USD used, depending on conditions and accessories.
Haven't used mine in years . Forgot so much but your very good tutorial enabled me to use my machine again . Clear instructions . Well done .
Thank you !

Hi! I recently got a used Janome Memory Craft 300E and I have a question hopefully someone here can answer. When I turn the machine on, the words "Bobbin winding" comes up on the screen (along with a large picture of a bobbin). It stays there no matter what I do and no other functions are available. What am I doing wrong? I've been troubleshooting for several hours now and I'm starting to feel hopeless. Thank you, Sherry
im having the same problem
Do you have the bobbin pin pushed over to the right? That might be the problem.
If I take the "extension table" off as it's called in the book, can it now be used as a free arm? I bought my machine in 2006 and just realized this could be an option.
Post how to upgrade Janome 300e. Thanks
Thanks for your demonstration on the 300e. I haven't used mine for a few years and I hope to get inspired.
Thanks, I needed a refresher. Haven't used my machine for a while. Looking forward to using it again.
same here
I bought my 6600 supposedly used, you can't tell it was used at all (I have my doubts if it ever was used. I haven't played around with it a lot but I can say it has a quiet smooth running stitch and the accufeed is easy to engauge & disengage. I saved $600 dollars buying it used on Ebay & have never looked back. I will be trying my hand at FMG as soon as I finish my present project & I expect no problems. Everytime I sit down to sew at it I say aloud "I love this machine"!
I bought mine on e-bay as well at quite a savings. I love my machine. It is such a workhorse. The manual is very clear. The only thing I miss is a free arm feature but I do have a small back up inexpensive machine that I use when needing a free arm.
me too and I paid full price back in 2016 it is still a solid hardworking machine
My question is "How did you engage the walking foot"? I have this machine and I can not get it to hold. Soon as I start sewing, it pops back up into it's waiting to need it space!
I am having that problem, too.
When you raise the presser foot it has an extra lift position, click it up twice then your presser foot will stay down
Exactly my question....show us how to engage it.
Thanks for that tip about lifting the presser foot lever a second notch higher. Didn’t realize it did that. Also I couldn’t get the foot to engage as you said until I realized that you have to remove the existing presser foot. I thought the feed mechanism fit under or on to a standard presser foot, but it works independently and you must remove any other presser foot. Hope this helps.
@@leadlove391 be sure the upper feed dog slide button is also in the correct position for the foot to engage
Janome 6600 is really the best and only one with its AccuFeed system, it is much more effective than for example Pfaff IDT system ... No doubts, I am going to bay the Janome 6600
