Welcome to another cover of one of my favourite songs! "You wanted the best and you got the best! The hottest band in the world! KISS!" KISS were faced with a lot of criticism for this song, due to its disco influence. However, I believe that, as Paul Stanley mentioned in 1998 at the Dodger stadium, the live version is what the band wanted it to sound like.
This cover was recorded with two live guitars. I did not stop at all. The guitars consist of two non-stop tracks, from the begining till the end. The videos were also simultaneously recorded.

Knopfler says he went to see Rory at one stage around the mid seventies. So I'm guessing the riff stuck in his head. Both songs are brilliant, different enough to both be classics in their own right.
