So I did this and was able to change the password but I am still not able to get back into my account because it is requiring a verification code either by sms or authentication app that I do not have set up for this account and the phone number on my account was changed so I am unable to get the code. What do I do??

i have mailed my complaint to instagram support centre and security centre... neatly I have sent them 7-8 mails. do you think this gonna be successful?

hii. i clicked through the link from ur description box... reached at instagram support centre... followed the steps... and as you said about that a video selfie option will be made available to recover back your account. The video selfie option too came in my phone. but before doing that video selfie it is asking to enter our email address where it can send an code and after entering the code, we can do that video selfie. i entered my email address and the code was sent. as i entered the code and went to proceed further. the app got crashed and it automatically got closed... i repeated this process nearly about 15-20 times but i got no successful results... i am literally tensed... because the hacker is doing promotions and advertisements through my account.

Work-related stress..ugh! Its hard to avoid, Trish. I admit to experiencing it in the last day or so. I was working on a fix for a software bug in the <gulp> Production environment and while troubleshooting a manager was asking me all those questions that really were not helpful (and caused me to take time away from my task). I stayed focus and left the office with a positive frame of mind. Thank you for these great stress mgmt tips, Trish. I will use them. 👍

I feel what I've learned and developed over time is to not jump to any conclusions too quickly and to step back and think of how best to address a situation. One thing I never enjoyed when overreacting is the negative feeling afterwards. It just made it tough for me to enjoy anything for a day or so. Thank you for the tips, Trish. 👍
