I hate how people compare this scene to the Israel vs. Palestine conflict. The goal of Israel is to destroy Hamas, which is a terrorist organization. There's nothing to justify what they did, and are still doing, to Israel, but also to the citizens of Gaza. If you want to compare this scene to something from our world, you should compare it to the citizens of Russia vs Putin, or Jews resisting the N@zis (The Empire was originally based on them) during WWII

I'm watching these short scenes and coming out of them quite ponderous. Also, kinda weird, but also somewhat sad. It's as I'm trying to find, I dunno, a hidden message or something. Of course I know my way around Star Wars lore basics so I'm aware that this time period was full of that: sadness and pondering, and also fear. I guess I relate so well to these scenes and feelings is because I see and sometimes feel them myself in today's world...

Yeah... I was wondering how this scene could be taken further but it's just and simply a matter of going deeper. In this case, just adding one flashback/scene is enough. Amazing job, it is indeed sadder this way 😥

I don't recall that many scenes in Star Wars where someone checks the pulse of someone else. It's kinda understandable, though. The people who die the most are usually either clones or rebels and stormtroopers. 2 out of 3 wear armour that makes it difficult to check. Neat addition in this scene. I also really liked seeing how the clones started questioning things. Little by little, sometimes one or two at a time.

When plot armor isnt there, stormtroopers are somewhat more competent, I would have wished to see one of those troopers fight off one of the protesters hand to hand combat and winning

I haven't re-watched the Bad Batch yet and it's been a while since I saw this season but now watching this scene, it makes me wonder what (if anything) would have changed if Crosshair got away? Also, what was up with that Stormtrooper? Really, you are gonna place your blaster next to a prisoner who is not even secured?? I mean, good for Crosshair but rookie mistake for sure... Guess the arrogance of the new Empire isn't reserved only for the superiors and people in charge...

I'm in conflict with this. On one hand, I would have loved to see more of Commander Mayday. But on the other hand, I like the "mystery", if it can be called that. Then again, I do think that not all clones need a detailed back story, some are there just for one or two episodes. But all in all, loved the character of Mayday. Just another clone who did his job and then was cast aside and forgotten.

I really do love how they chose to take a smarter approach to the Empire. Even for a totalitarian state, shooting wildly into crowds is a bad idea, and the Empire does everything it can to control the situation before the rioters escalate it. Namely, they attempt to restrict the protest legally, through max participation numbers and requirements for permits, and secondly, they do everything they can to non lethally suppress it while arresting the most violent or the ring leaders.
