Fairheads of Ilford: A Century of Shopping
This is such a great video. Very informative. Lived in Ilford all my life. Good to know the history…
Ilford in 1958, was much, much better. Now over populated and developed.Spoilt for Ever.
Born in Ilford 1942 now aged 81, superb documentary about Ilford Redbridge but marred by the awful girl commentary and the stupid shutter noises on the photographs
Ilford is an Islamic shithole now.
I've seen Fauja out running, he is an impressive gentleman, he has a better physique than lots of 25-30 year olds. I couldn't believe it when I heard his age
That was a lovely shop. You don't get shops like that anymore. I remember a similar shop in Wanstead High Street - was that the same people?
❤❤❤❤
Thank you all for this eloquent succinct interview . I am currently studying the biography of Sylvia Pankhurst by Rachel Holmes for the purposes of narrating the audiobook .Your interview of Sylvia Ayling really helps to flesh out the events that occurred in her(SP’s) life . Very special
Hi Jennifer, we're glad to hear you enjoyed the interview. You may also be interested in our website about Sylvia's life, work and later years which mentions plenty of sources that may help you in understanding who she was: www.sylviapankhurst.com/. Good luck!
I arrived to a very unfriendly Britain in the fifties and left as soon as could. Britain has come a long way. You might even elect an Immigrant as Prime Minister and your Prince of the Realm, although now vilified, had his father walk his non-white wife into the Royal family. America could learn a bit of woke from you guys.
I have always enjoyed the way British people honor and support their rich history. Here is why. God Save The Queen. May she be blessed in the days to come. With 💕 from 🇺🇲.
This is why people abroad admire the British way of life! Attention and respect to history, to H.M. your Queen and celebrations in the neighbourhood! In Holland all of this has sadly gone ... Be conscious about this! 2 lovely speeches to start with and now your celebrations ... 🇬🇧👍 Please, share it on this youtube-channel. Love from Holland 🌷
2005. Traffic bad then. Hats it like now ? 2022. Omg 😭😭
