I have two Sportsman's, a 2005 800EFI and a 2012 800EFI - I love these older Polaris ATV's, they have great power and a lot of features for the years. They keep up just fine with the new bikes, a little harder of fuel and now power steering but for most trails it is not an issue. That bike looks like it is great shape, keep up the maintenance, greasing and oil/fluid changes and they will last.

About using the 4 wheel drive. You can be pulling out of your driveway or be going down the road and cause of snow/ sleet u start to skid. You can just turn the knob to 4 high and it will kick right in for the added traction. Being u can’t always slow down or just stop on a roadway to kick in your 4 by 4. High gear is use in winter snow and slush. The only time u need to shift it into neutral first is when u want to use 4 low which is mostly for off roading: dirt, gravel paths, rough terrain etc.

I have a 2008 Ford Ranger XL Its got a V6 4.0L engine and averages 22 MPG. With 113,500 miles on odometer the seats are like new..the previous owner always kept the seats covered with seat covers. No dents or damage anywhere. I bought it 6 months ago for $7000. I haven't had to have anything repaired or replaced on it. Its been very reliable.

When I got a 61 CDV, the lady who owned it didnt drive it for years. The bad gas made the valves stick. We added Marvels drop by drop with fresh gas. Worked great!
