It's nice to be out camping again in the first snow of winter! This video was shot on the Huippu/Ekniemi Nature Trail at Ekniemi, on the island of Kemiönsaari in southwestern Finland. Ekniemi translates to Oak (Ek in Swedish) and Niemi (a headland or penninsula in Finnish). The top of the hill is not far from the Baltic Sea shore and an inlet of Paimionlahti Bay can be seen from the top of the watchtower. It's unusual to have a Finnish place name that is a combination of Swedish and Finnish. I hiked up a rocky hill (in Finnish: kalliomäki, where the granit...
