I will start first off by saying how beautiful this is. Anyways, let's start with the things we know I find it incredibly interesting that you tell me the ages in the description. So, there is a 2 year gap between the time Kosuke attempts to kill Hideko and when Hideko gets revenge. Another interesting difference is Hideko's hair change, going from white to black. Since we know that Temmie is quite addicted to Magical type stories, one can infer that Hideko is a runaway of a magical species. Making her a target. This would give Kosuke a reason to kill Hideko. The two don't seem to be related(different last names) and there are no hints that the two have had any relationship. It seems that Kosuke saw Hideko in the forest and attempted to kill her. However, another thing that one might take away from this clip is that Hideko is the bad guy. I, at first, believed Hideko was innocent and that Kosuke was sent to find and kill her for job purposes. Kosuke seems to be a general of sorts. However, with the blood on Hideko's face, it's possible that she killed someone important to Kosuke. This is the reason why killing Hideko is not enough for Kosuke, as stated in the lyrics. Hideko may have killed someone important to Kosuke and murdering Hideko is not enough. This may also be the reason why Kosuke seems surprisingly okay with dying. Because death is the only way Kosuke can reunite with the lost loved one. Either that or he is so traumatized that death seems like an escape. Hideko may have lost someone important to Kosuke, too. Both may have taken away someone that the other loved and are out for revenge. Or smth else i dunno, this is just a silly little idea
