Pottery and woodcarving creations
Watch as I create pieces of art alone and with my family. Enjoy as we use pottery, wood carving, and coloring to express myself, as someone with ADHD and autism.
explore the therapeutic benefits of these activities for individuals with similar neurodiverse experiences, to help to decompress and as stress relief or just laugh as I create :-)
I’m also a hand tool Enthusiast, and enjoy trying to do things without using a large amount of modern electronic tools as I don’t have a work space atm
So join in have some laughs with me as I fumble my way through creativity and all its processes.
Get inspired to embrace your creativity and find joy in the process of making beautiful, unique creations of your very own.
I will be uploading videos weekly, please comment with suggestions on projects, ideas for current or future projects or share any tips you have for processes I’m trying to accomplish
Subscribe so you don’t miss out!
Thanks
Hopkins ;-)

Are you in Hampshire ? The French doors were to be replaced with a patio door on the house we had in Basingstoke. The company doing the job had allowed a half hour to remove the 1m high part wall. It took over a day, bricks so hard that a chisel made no impression, the Kango hammer blunted and I sharpened it four times for them and it was a waste of time using a sledge hammer. The mortar stuck to the bricks and the brick course would not split along the mortar. So you have my sympathy.
I’m in reading about 25 mins from Basingstoke maybe they are the same type of bricks I have never known any so hard tbh. I once lived in a concrete house (it was very old) and that wasn’t as hard as these bricks
The bricks are hard/brittle, I'm surprised they didn't crack, why didn't you drill into the bed joints and pirps 🤔
Because we wanted a strong setting for the shelves as they will be holding fairly heavy stuff but yes the bricks are rock hard
I thought in the mortar would be to weak to take the weight off
It's ok to go in morta simply for the reason you encountered, at least your shelf won't go anywhere now. I think the purple is from the heat when firing in the kiln, there's thousands of types and made with different clay. These are like burnt toast lol
That makes sense and definitely not moving now there in lol not sure even a earthquake would move them lol
Can’t wait to see it finished
:-) shouldn’t be long
Nice
Thanks
So cute
Thanks I thought so too
That looks amazing!!
It does! Thanks
What about dying the wood different colours and then laying out a pattern
That’s a good idea seeing as pallet would is mostly pale wood maybe I could try the burn sand paint effect
That’s really cool love the sounds ❤
Me to
