This is a focus test of my cat Sparky eating cat treats. I think the lens /camera combination does a good job focusing. This lens dose have an issue, focus breathing. As the focus changes the framing of the image also changes. The apparent focal length changes. you can see this if you watch the chair leg on the right of the frame.

how does the filtration keep up with a big pond and lots of fishes?
They’ve gotten big or you bought them already big?
I raised from 2 inch little ones, Unfortunately last winter my pond froze solid and they didn't make it. I started over last summer with new fish.

Yes we get snow . I am in the Northeast of the USA.

Yes about two feet at the deepest.
As it turns out. They weren't Koi. They were musquito fish. Mosquito fish don't lay eggs. I bought a dozen of them and a week later I saw the baby's.😟

You can see several of the young gold fish in this video. They are now 4-5 inches long. I watched a video that listed 10 mistakes people make that have Koi ponds. One mistake was failure to cull the herd. If you don't do it mother nature will, and you will lose fish you wanted to keep. Any one want some Goldfish? At time 1:08 you can see one of the three catfish I have in my pond.
