I'm using Manjaro, it says "pkexec must be setuid root". can't go to next step
after your command for it, says "sudo: /usr/bin/sudo must be owned by uid 0 and have the setuid bit set"
after the next command chown, it says "chown: changing ownership of '/usr/bin/sudo': Operation not permitted"
So i opened the tty2 with ctrl+windows+F2 And then there i did all this. Except it was in /usr/bin/sudo and the /share/ had no 'sudo'
But anyway, i can run my TLauncher Minecraft with sudo, so thank you a ton!! ❤️💜 God bless you

hey, looks great but not working for me with worstation 16.2.5 on ubuntu 22.04, got an error on last command
i went to the github and tried as proposed by replacing 14.1.1 by 17.0.0 for worstation version and it worked !!! thanks a lot then

those who met the problem of cannot log in as root, you can try recover mode in grub, then choose root prompt
Backup your data & Reinstall kali using official image.

It literally still says unable to install all modules. I followed your directions but replaced workstation 15 to "player-16.1.2" because thats what im using. On the last step it still says "unable to install all modules."
Mention 16.1.2 in all commands instead of 15
