Of course it is not every Jew that thinks this way. We were discussing pockets of religious Israeli society. Ofer and i are both jewish and neither of us regard anyone as inferior that are non-jewish. However we recognise that this is a way of thinking within Jewish circles, and we do not subscribe to this way of thinking. Thank you for watching, take care

why do you see it as a sickness instead of Jews upholding human rights for all? it's not about being Jewish, it's about the fact that we are all human. We are all interconnected. There is no us and them. Also the 'some' you refer to is thousands of Jews standing in solidarity with Palestinian voices. I'll refer you to 'jews for peace', 'jews against fascism'' , 'B'tselem' , 'Breaking the Silence' , 'Voices against War' and Jewish scholars and authors; Gabor Mate, Antony Loewenstein, Norman Finklestein, Noam Chomsky, Ilan Pappe and so many more. All these Jewish organisations and Jewish scholars standing in solidarity with the Palestinian cause because 'never again for anyone' is what we believe in. We are in the thousands. Our voices are not the minority. Apartheid and Occupation must not exist anywhere in the world. Thank you. Take care.

thank you so much for watching and asking the questions. i will pose these questions to Ofer as we are catching up for another conversation / interview in a few weeks. my personal opinion is if Israel stopped occupying the Palestinian Territories and stopped the siege on Gaza before Oct 7th , stopped the apartheid, stopped the illegal settlements, then maybe Oct 7th would have been avoided. Of course i cannot be sure as you know, but their ongoing occupation , building illegal settlements in Westbank, arresting and detaining Palestinians (many of them children) and then subjecting them to a millitary court does not help bringing peace to the region. But i will pose these 2 question in full to Ofer who has a much better understanding of both the answers to your 2 questions and in particular what would have been the best response post Oct 7th & once the war ends how to bring about peace . @DavidScott-zq5jg Have you checked out what Sinwar said? He will not have ceasefire talks. He wants to have the war to continue to go on till Israel loses international support. He also said the deaths of the Palestinian civilians are necessary sacrifices to gain international support as well. While the world is pressuring Israel to a complete ceasefire, they should also pressure Hamas to have ceasefire talks, don't you think?
