Looks like you used involute tooth profile for rack instead of trochoidal..... Is there a reason for that?

you just need the pinion module and pressure angle (usually 20º) as the only input for the rack. The formulas for the rack are s=PI*m/2, h=2.25m, ha=m, and the pressure angle. the rest is easy. you can do a rack template for this with module, angle, and number of tooths for the rack as inputs

I am very interested in this roller pinion and rack system. I know how to construct involute gears and that these have a consistent gear ratio. But how is it with these roller pinions?
This drive converts the rotation of the roller gear into the reciprocating motion of the rack. Therefore, when the roller gear rotates one revolution, the rack gear reciprocating the distance is PI*D (here: PI = 3.14...; D: Pitch diameter of the roller gear).
