I had this issue, come to find out the sewer manhole was backed up. The city had to come out and unclog the sewer. Everyones shower where i stay was backed with sewage coming up the drain. Smh

You could do this cleaner, you did unprofessional job, you probably damaged the toilet by snake auger, I'm not a plumber but i do this very clean way.

I just spent 3 hrs watching vids on how to do proper work for this sort of problem. I guess they were all wrong. Just Rambo it and hope something works so you don't have to work on the sewer clean out! Silly me.
