Nursing SUCKS. im a new grad male oncology nurse and its so miserbale. Tired, burned out, doctors and patients treat you like SHIT, nobody appreiciates you, your overworked, and so much more. I really appreciate you sharing your story. I have also quit and this was my exact, identical experience. I am now jobless and trying to figure out what to do that will be more sustainable. I knew I would not enjoy being a bedside RN but no doctor's offices or outpatint facilities would take me as a new grad.

For cotton yarn recommendations, I typically use Paintbox Yarns and Hobbii’s Friends line. For medium/ 4 weight yarn, I’ve been using lily sugar and cream recently and have been liking it a lot! All of these go on sale frequently too! I’d recommend looking at wool blend or cotton blend yarns. They’re usually mixed with acrylic so it’s not as expensive but still has the benefits of the cotton/wool

I already know nurses are burned out since my mom and grandma are nurses. But I still went for it. I’m actually planning to work bedside 1-2 years and then be a nurse coder. Then maybe work PRN at an outpatient facility if I need more money. You don’t have to completely quit right away. New grads can get hired outside the hospital. I work at a LTAC only working nights, been less stressful so far.
