Thank you for the video, but as an absolute beginner, I am puzzled by the adddition of ´hoon´ (`am´) in every (present tense) sentence. For instance: `Mai krti hoon` is literally ´I do am` , or a more free translation would be: I am doing. And ´I help´ in Urdu is ´Mai madad kr deti hoon´, which would literally translate as ´I help give am´, or freely translated as ´I am giving help´. Can anybody explain why always a (superfluous?) conjugation of the verb ´to be´ has to be added?
