@@RepublicServicesFan idk the truck number but the took it off my route last year
Why did they change the backup sound on 1546?
@@RepublicServicesFan the other one went out. Basically it wouldn’t have the pause between every .5 seconds. So it was a continuous sound like a siren so they had to change it and I guess they added a rear loader backup alarm. So instead of it meaning the “beep, beep, beep” sound it made a “beeeeeeeep” sound
@@LV_trashman43RS Oh, ok. Did it never turn off or only when it was engaged it made the continuous beeeeep
@@RepublicServicesFan it was only when the truck was put into reverse that it made the sound. Once you changed to Neutral or drive it turns off

Love The ACX Zrs my City Has Some ACX Amreps That Operate When Other Peterbilt Trucks are Down
Nice. I had to stay pretty far from the truck it is so loud. At the end I had to cover my ears
