I've watched this a bunch and I think he's onto something with this analysis, with the caveat that you also get a few Teslas who jump way ahead of the curve and force us to spend some centuries playing catch up. But in general this does seem to be a solid model for artistic and technological progress with lots of other examples one could cite.

Im sure I will hurt ppls feelings by saying this but this band is lame and their singer Jesse Hughes style is corny and hes full of himself and a scumbag lol. This isn't even his band its Josh Homme's band and he acts like its his creation.

EL _Wilder88 I've said this on another video, but when you first watch Jesse you think he is a pretentious prick, but after a few interviews or concerts, you realize that he is the king shit of fuck mountain and he's just living the life. He's one of the best frontmen in rock and puts on a great show. I know that's your opinion, but I think it'll change after watching a few more shows.
