The Customer Since the customer never told the bartender that they would be back & if the drink was not finished they would of left it cause they knew he would be back The drink was finished so the bartender wasn’t going to leave an empty glass on the bar & that means no free drink or apology & he still must pay.

The Customer A bar is a a private business & not your private bar at a house. Since he ordered it he must pay plus the bar tender never said it was on the house.
