찬송하리로다 주 이스라엘의 하나님이여 그 백성을 돌보사 속량하시며 우리를 위하여 구원의 뿔을 그 종 다윗의 집에 일으키셨으니. (눅 1: 68~69) Praise be to the LORD, the God of Israel, because he has come and has redeemed his people. Luke 1:68~69

무릇 하나님께로부터 난 자마다 세상을 이기느니라. 세상을 이기는 승리는 이것이니 우리의 믿음이니라. 예수께서 하나님의 아들이심을 믿는 자가 아니면 세상을 이기는 자가 누구냐 (요일 5:4) For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God. (1John 5:4~5)

너희가 알거니와 너희 조상이 물려 준 헛된 행실에서 대속함을 받은 것은 은이나 금 같이 없어질 것으로 된 것이 아니요 오직 흠 없고 점 없는 어린 양 같은 그리스도의 보배로운 피로 된 것이니라. 베드로전서 1:18~19 For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your forefathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.
