Excellent video rev, that’s my weekend sorted doing the same thing! Have you tried motors on your pedals? I bought some as an add on for my VRS pedals and they work brilliantly in most titles. Only problem is they make bit of a racket and drive the wife mad 🤣

Rev have you thought about revisiting the DTM 95 on raceroom, I’ve been doing lots of offline races with the adaptive Ai setting and the racing has been really good.

Agree on the vettes, the GTE feels so much better. The GT3 version is the worst of the GT3s by a decent amount.

It's so interesting that each car has their own personality and you can really feel them come through. Surprised how much you liked the Corvette GTE, I'm going to have to give that a go this weekend!

I'm really debating on getting LMU. Looks fairly good and much cheaper in the grand scheme of things when the only other viable competitive sim is iRenting with its horrible pricing and poor physics, but I also don't feel comfortable buying DLC for an early access game from a company that's operating at a loss... I suppose I'll wait for another month before pulling the trigger and giving it a spin (the temperatures here in Argentina are too high for me to set up the rig in any case). By the way, the 911 GTE is mid-engine instead of rear engine :)

And thanks for tip on applying slight pressure on accelerator immediately after braking - going to give this a go as I find in LMU (and some other sims) I’ll be unstable on exit and get oversteer as I’ve a bad habit of braking and float a bit before accelerating, getting oversteer. But good race and well done for fighting back - just subscribed.

Is the requirement to apply a little throttle through the corner, for balance, due to brake oversteer? The sim looks good, haven't tried it yet.

Another winner of a video. How would you rate LMUs GT3s compared to the rest of the market? Im about to buy LMU but mainly for the multi-class AI and the Hyper cars though of course Im looking forward to trying thier GT3s / Es and LMP2s. For me RSS’s GT3s in AC have eclipsed ACCs, will be interesting to see where LMUs fit given the fact Ive never played RF2

Brilliantly produced video. Perfect balance of in /out cockpit footage. Im been holding out with LMU despite hyper cars being my favourite class in sim racing. Reason being, I wanted the game to as stable and as fully featured (car & track wise) as it’s going to be. I think we’re close with the 4th DLC pack this year. This video has given me a comprehensive initial perspective of the hyper class. Can’t wait! Like you Im a Ferrari fan, so I think I’ll save that and try out the Toyota or Porsche 1st. I expect that Imola will be the track too as there isn’t a track I find more enjoyable to drive. Thanks again mate, Ive liked and subscribed 😊

I have a couple hundred hours in ams2 and love it, just started playing acc, and I like how it feels, except why when I go into some faster corners does the front end of the car just completely come out from under you? Even if I hardly turn the wheel in some corners it seems the front will just leave the track

Dude, i started on this last year and had the same, if not worse, results. Moved over to LMU and am practising on that. I have better results and a better time against the AI on AMS2. Still a good Race you had there Mate, fun nonetheless. You never remember the times you cross the line first, its the little fights and tustles here n there that stay in mind, bloody great.

I been play ACC with a Fanatec for a year on my sons XBOX but just built a PC with triples. Do I buy AMS2 for 39$ or do I have to get the Bundles for 178$ to play online?

too much stupid and irrespectful people do simracing and they dont understand what is racing.... you need to brake when it has a crash, you need to give up position to be be in better position to re-atttack next lap, you need to use your brain because its a sim race and not a game racing like mario kart, to much stupid people in 2025 are in sim racing without undersdand what they are doing, people are dumb and incompetant... its not your case but a lot of streamers dont know how to race...

Hi there!! I'm new to AC and i just got this car, thats how i found your video. Can you please help me with a couple of things? What are the names of the "widgets" that you have in the screen (tires, gear, revs and speed, lap time, etc? i like the originals from AC but i like yours better. Finally, what is/are the mods necessary to play AC with those lights/reflexions? The sky in my game doesnt look that good nor the reflexions on the car hahahah. Thx and have a good one! I actually liked this race. It looked like a good fight for position. I've seen races that were basically a wreckfest from dudes crashing into eachother. Here the racing was pretty clean. What was wrong with the netcode? I'm not completely familiar with all terminology yet😊

RaceRoom went into sky with 2024 updates! Hope they keep the amazing work this year, I heard they implementing DX12! For me one of the best if not the best in terms of pure feeling, hard to describe!

For me the net code is pretty good. I'm in New Zealand so mainly drive on Australia/Asian servers.

Looked like a fun race, great battles with the Porsche's. Every online race there is always at least 1 guy (usually several) that are like the guy that ended your race. Sometimes its a skill gap, usually its an attitude one. All you can do is race your race & hope to stay clean.

Great video man ! I love when content creators just put out their races regardless of result. It gets so boring seeing people try so hard to make themselves seem flawless when in reality we all have these moments. SUBBED permanently ! What would you say about someone like myself getting into AMS2 as the only real sim I haven't gotten into yet out of the major ones, IRacing, LMU & ACC / AC ? I am part of a league full of retired & active racers, They got aliens & up and coming GT racers one who has his own wiki. Wealth of knowledge and skill to learn from they dont hide their secrets and try to help everybody you should join us !

Not the best result, but often times the best racing happens when the podium is out of reach and you're racing for fun and pride. LFM has always been hit or miss when it comes to getting good races. Some days you'll have the time of your life. Others you'll be ready to rip your wheel off the wheelbase. Despite how it ended, the back and forth with those Porsches looked like a lot of fun.

As a reminder, in most AMS2 cars, increase the preload by about 100, and decrease the clutches to mostly get rid of the slidey feeling some suffer really badly from. Not sure why the default setups are so off, but these changes help a ton, and the GT3 cars need them the most.

Enjoing your videos, but how is it compared to ACC with the Setups? Is it realisitc?

I always run the bmw or the corvette. That final corner is best taken by braking to about 40% at the 100 marker and gently taper off to about 10 to 15 meters before the apex. 3rd gear at apex and modulate the throttle to the exit. When tires are warm you can push the exit harder.

I love these videos! For some reason I couldn't make out the RSS Formula Hybrid 2024's beautiful pops very well.

I have rF2 but didn't buy LMU as I think rF2 GT3s are already really nice and probably were the benchmark before. Also the AI can give you some nice duels. Then the AC mods are always there to enjoy. But ofc, I'm talking offline modes. I have never played ACC, so I don't know how good they are, but I think you know by now how much I enjoy the variety of sportscars in general in AMS2. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for ACE to not mess up the in-game economy and to really get down to it to fix AI racing.
