I was watching this during the late evening alone, with my earphones, and the subtle background noises scared me so much😭
Definitely #2

I always love Pinky hilarious and direct when he tells u
tsex en kerakrel. why???
“try to make us listen to every note that you want to produce out of the instrument. make us listen. don’t just play because he wrote it down on a piece of paper” very impactful words
Zuckerman😍 I wish he was my teacher!
Zukerman's violin must be worth in the millions.
Even cellist can learn so much from this. Thank God for sharing this.
Zucerman giving super effective advises.
What this first piece was?
Sinding Suite, 1st mvt.
The first Mov from the Suite in a minor by C. Sinding
The basic fundamentals. So many lacking those very important steps to being a good musician and a great player. Fundamentals fundamentals fundamentals.
❤❤❤ this was the old school. french right hand school. miss this!
nice!
My favorite violinist. He had everything.
Yep
Joshua bell is the violin version of a yapper tbh
3rd kid, Gary Levinson - future concertmaster of the DSO. Amazing to see such a renowned violinist, in their early years, learning directly from one of history's Greats.
That was really solid foundation for violin playing, i am wondering how many violinists today do the same practice
Did he try a special violin at this time?
I'm not really a classical violinist fan or expert but I have heard about Eugene Fodor and his talents. He died relatively young and had a life-long struggle with drugs and alcohol addiction, which contributed to his death. It appears his family has a genetic predisposition to these types of physical and mental issues. One of his daughters, Lindsay, who goes by the name Daisy, is a regular on the boardwalk in Venice Beach, California, and well known for her eccentric behavior. She is an attractive well-spoken woman but appears to have significant psychological and emotional issues.
Knew him most of his life. Performed with him many times , and recorded with him. Also knew his family. I know of no familial genetic predisposition to drugs and alcohol. He threw away his career and his life pretty much on his own, with the help of an abusive father.
Use the fourth finger on the A string for your e. Keep it all on the same string so that you have it voiced. Also, spicatto is always beginning on the string. To get a more even stroke, reverse the bowing. You have to spend as much time on the upstroke as you do on the down and most people shorten the length of the up bow. Making it impossible to do the staccato
Genius!
Who is the pupil? And I missed the point of the last 30 seconds. Is he tightening his bicep, or letting it all relax as well as the hand?
he was a great fiddler, i've heard him a couple of times in person, quite familiar with him, but this sounds like he hasn't touched a fiddle in a month. i don't know, maybe he didn't have this piece in his fingers at the time.
Yea right !!! Complete nonsense !!!
19:30
Num 1. Warm long notes!
Loll
Thank you so much for sharing, this is a wonderful !
Il Cannone?
Played with him when he performed with Memphis SO yers ago. He was out of prison…absolute phenom
What was he in prison for?
Something to do with cocaine. Not sure if possession or dealing. Remember him talking about freebasing in an interview. I do remember they let him practice in his cell. which is pretty cool.
@@starkeymorgan4142 I just saw an interview with his daughter, Lindsay, who claims her father was molesting her best friend from the ages of 13 to 16, this guy was a real piece of work apparently! Nobody goes to prison for simply possession, he was probably dealing or trafficking!
@prophetmargin7497 I believe Lindsay aka Daisy said it was her grandfather
No more sitting down for great viola players
Muy bueno! En los otros movimientos se dieron cuenta de colocar apaisado el celular
All in first position - that's viola for you.
He is so generous with his information and the physical realities of playing a string instrument. Wonderful teaching.
Incredible. Thank you so much for uploading it. Is it possible to upload the whole masterclass??
He is real cocky.
Great!! Which piece did he play?
Saint-Saens Violin Concerto N°3, first and third movement
@@narutoo6215 thank you
Grande músico 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
