My question is how quickly can I learn organ if I play piano I want to play organ at my church

A piano is a percussion instrument (hitting strings with a hammer) while an organ is a wind instrument. As such a piano has more in common with a drum kit than an organ and an organ has more in common with a flute than a piano.

Maybe it's because the recording is excellent, this orchestra plays Mozart in an ideal way, with great taste, without exaggerations of dynamics and tempo.

This orchestra plays in an ideal manner between the tradition and the 'historic' performances.

Symph 41 is an abomination. The very worst thing that Mozart ever wrote. Why do retards drool over it? Just because it has a name, and the 40th doesn't?

Hugely exciting launch to an inspired, diverse and highly innovative LMP 24-25 season! I doubt there there is another orchestra out there who is doing so much to break the mould, and attract new audiences to experience the joy and wellbeing of classical music and related genres.

The best performance I've ever listened to so far. Amazing tempo, dynamics, expression.

Unfortunately vandalised now, with one of the pipes having been stolen. The Whitgift Centre is in decline and relatively few people visit now.

Sadly, I have never heard anybody playing this organ, unlike the one at London Bridge station. The Whitgift Centre is almost deserted these days.

Ok- very very nice talk very full of insights - but I’m sorry to say that I don’t hear a different sound from major to minor etc.. sounds the same to me. I think a little less biting in the mouthpiece would give a warmer sound. Softer reeds also help

This Concerto is all about the Second Movement. However, the interpretation of this clarinetist is very “earthy” like a dying person’s last breath instead of a rising Spirit with a heavenly wisdom perceived by us through deceptive melancholy…. It’s not melancholy but à nostalgia of prior knowledge
