Absolutely love Boltyn, so glad he got so many tools in DtD. With Jarl Vertreidi coming, how do you think that will effect Boltyn? He’s no doubt going to be extremely popular and strong. I remember back in Uprising matching into Iyslander or Oldhim was a death sentence. Do you think we just sideboard energy pots or something?

Hey, gz for the 4th place :) Im not very new in the game, i started in dec 2022 when the game come to Brasil. I started in the game with a budget Oldhim and I liked a lot. Since his LL in blitz I was looking for a hero to play with, went to Rhinar because it was not expensive, changed to Kayo when released but I was always thinking in Boltyn, but ppl that played in my lgs always said that Boltyn was not good. Last month I created courage and started the plan of Boltyn. I'm liking a lot it, the offense and defense hybrid style, and the paladin appealing. My lgs just play blitz and is so difficult to find blitz content for Boltyn, do you have a list and some advices for it? Im also trying to make a CC deck to play some time, but I don't have some of your cards like 3-strike, ironsong versus, the 3rd copy of soul shield and banneret of protection, and the tunic, what cheap changes you would suggest for these cards?

This is great! I'm looking to branch out from being a solo mech player and I think Boltyn will be my first venture. Hard to say your run didnt largely inspire that

Can you share with us how do you pilot this deck? Like any tips and tricks, because this deck is so hard to pilot

Thoughts on Solar Plexus for those who don't have tunic / estrike? I've had decent success in casual play with the plexus + 3x yellow take flight + 3x yellow thrust + 3x yellow battlefield blitz + 3 snatch package. It's a lot more fun than soulbond but I'm not sure it's actually good. 😅

How do you feel playing into all the disruption from the Earth decks? Losing one card just makes the whole hand so awkward to work with in my opinion, thought i'm still new to Boltyn, would love to get some insights on how to leverage less cards to hit back hard

Loved seeing you kick ass on stream! Boltyn has been my deck since I have started playing it. Would love to see more content from you! I don't own any E-strikers, what would you move from the side board to replace E-strike. I know E-strike is very powerful and probably wouldn't be a 1-1 replacement.

Bro! thanks a ton for the vid! Very insightful. Your card explanations make a ton of sense. I think you have discovered the way to really push this hero to getting the most value points possible by decreasing the deck charge card count and leveraging warband, running more cards like bannerets, leveraging soul with estrike and ccat, and many other ways. This might be the definitive way to play the hero, well done!

Great video, very helpful, thanks so much! So far I've just been trying to tailor Elly's lists to my own playstyle and where that's gotten me is hating Soulbond because I depend on Tunic so much lol. I'm gonna try playing Soulbond more often in a deck based more on yours and see if that changes my view, I could see that happening. I know you say you love estrike... cope question but I need to be sure before I get them, *how* important are they? Should I listen to the voice that thinks I can get by without them, or is this really one of those "this hero isn't meta, you need to be playing the strong expensive cards to get to the point where you can catch up on skill expression" situations? Second question, how do you feel about vigor tokens? Bloodrun Wine and Slap Happy are cards I am forever waffling on, I'm honestly a little surprised to not see either when you're on Soulbond so often and V really likes being able to activate without paying from hand.

Thank you so much! I had a minor identity crisis with Boltyn. I really love his playstyle so much, but not combo Boltyn. It‘s just no fun, but everyone says you need it. So I tried building my own Raydn lists which didn‘t really work out. I‘m not a great player yet and I‘m not good at deckbuilding so your videos helped me a lot to understand the process of building one. The current meta was really intimidating for me and I was unsure if I should switch the hero for the Pro Quest. Your videos and performance this weekend gave me some more confidence to stick with him. So now I only have to get my 1000 reps in a month…

Thank you very much for the Deck tech. I do like Boltyn and brought him to a few armories already, but he feels intimidating and at least in the last meta enigma was like an autoloss, I think easier now because they dont run that much -1 atk cards anymore, but well since Victor doesnt work at all anymore it seems I might give Boltyn another go 😀 I am really looking forward to the 3. part of the Monarch war. Hopefully they finally give Boltyn some cards with less then 3 conditions to be met xD Personally I do not think Boltyn needs much, just cards similar to the Monarch set with the power of the Dusk till Dawn set and not must be light and yellow and the player has to perform a backflip and juggle balls. Again thank you very much and I am looking forward to more content.
