A short tribute for Hawaii's other Princess Victoria, showing pictures and photos of her Royal Highness Princess Victoria Kamāmalu Kaahumanu IV of Hawaii, the sister of King Kamehameha IV and Kamehameha V. She was betrothed to Prince Lunalilo but they were forbidden to married by her brothers; he composed Alekoki for her while waiting for her arrival in the rain. She became Kuhina Nui or Prime ...
I have come up with a way to allow a hawaiian royal without making it independent (as the mainlanders really dont want that), a new queen of the state of hawaii.
Sad the islands were straight stolen. But this was the deal with the devil Kamehameha made to unite the island. Hawaii only became "unified" after the introduction of guns. They left nothing for their people. The only lasting legacy for hawaiian folks is from Bernice. And go check the school, full of haoles, Chinese, and other assimilated backgrounds. It's a tragic story that doesn't happen without the brutal imperialism of America.
