The 2 granular fungicides mentioned are clearly not the same..They have 2 distinctly different modes of action. Azoxystrobin is more expensive then Propraconizol thats why the scotts costs more...Azoxy works much better in Brown patch. Propraconizol works better on Dollar spot. 2 of the most common lawn funguses..

Does not work in ohio. Third application was just put down 1st of June at double the rate and still have seen NO improvement.

So just make a trailer hitch.. literally just a aluminum piece of strap or flat stock attached to the flap bar sticking out 3”-4” drill hole in end and that u can use a bungee cord S hook or I used a carabiner about 3” it locks the toro / lawn Stryper roller to your “hitch” / “Tab” so no jump offs has a bit of flex works great basically empty !! You will burn up your ego motor by lugging a full grass bag and a 20 something point grass roller. It’s grass it doesn’t need much weight the toro roller girth is plenty . The big league lawn one is hideous and very power thought out w how bulky everything is. The ego is a kids toy weight wise. We don’t need a super heavy freakishly huge mess hanging of the back of the toy mower ?? Do we ??

Seems to me the mower is great. But the blades are possibly junk. Maybe EGO will improve the blades after seeing reviews. Or possibly some one will make after market blades. But I'm guessing the light weight blades help contribute to EGOS long runtime....

I did this as well. I find that the screws on mine are never tight enough--and you don't want to over-tighten--and so this will require some modification. This setup may work well with a flat lawn with plenty of room to maneuver, but I find that my arm gets pulled back with I have hills or make turns at the end of my passes. I haven't quite figured out what I'm going to do, but it may be something inelegant like tying a wire clothes hanger around the u bar and the wheel axle. Also, I found the carabiner to be effective as well.

I Have EGO battery mower, been using it 3 yrs but now it has gone dead. I don't know anything about electricity and if I take it to be repaired I am sure it will be very expensive. With a petrol mower, it's easier to diagnose the problem.

Did it, stripes look good. Thx Rob. Used an eye bolt on the rail and a carabiner on the roller to attach it and easily take it off to do clean up passes and the perimeter. The hook they give you with the roller kit is no good.

Rob what height do you set the mower at? 3 or 4. I’ve read you need taller grass to get stripes.

I had purchased a $300 gas mower, can't remember the brand but we'll known. Toro or craftsman I believe. Third year it would not start at the beginning of the season. I was super pissed. Had no idea about battery powered equipment. Did my homework and purchased an Ego push mower. It's a pleasure to go out and cut the grass now. Never felt that way about mowing with a gas mower, (No BS). Sometimes I have to stop and change batteries depending on length but cut quality is spot on. Mulching is good too. Blade sharpening is one or two times per season. So my take is completely opposite of yours. Done with gas and oil and belts and spark plugs.

Have you any issues with mower? Still going strong?

Thanks for giving us a REAL review. 99.9% out there are rubbish fanboy reviews testing after one use or paid reviews on grass that doesn't need cutting.

Damn I watched hundreds of Ego Mower videos and bought a used 2020 EGO Power+ Select Cut LM2135SP with a new 7.5 Ah battery for $240. Not bad, then I see this video lol. Everyone raved about it lol. Ah well it was a great deal but now seeing this video I can be prepared for it and adjust accordingly. Thanks for the video this is my first lawn mower and new to my own yard work.

But when you screw in the attachment on the arms you could actually hit all the wiring in there and totally mess up your mower!????

There's a High lift blade available for EGO.

Great review. The other reviewers mostly don’t have any trees so they don’t bring up the leaves issue during the fall. It’s different if mowing a golf course type backyard that ego would be great. For the rest of the people...... gas. I was actually pretty convinced I was going to get one until I watched this 👍

So how did you end up liking it? I have a brand new super recycler with Honda engine in my garage but haven’t given it a try yet

Just purchased the one with the toro engine. Got it home and did two passes to take a little bit off my lawn. Then did one pass on my neighbors over grown yard. Let me tell you I'm very impressed. No clumps no bogging down hell it even stripped good. We'll worth the money. Before I made the purchase I was going to get a used recycler but decided to treat myself to a new 2020 super. So far no regrets I'm tempted to cut my hole lawn tomorrow.

I have the latest greatest mower you have featured. I am a first time home owner so I bought the mower, top of the line blower, and the power load string trimmer. I am returning the mower for the same reasons. If you have a thick lawn, the lines are so horrendous. The mower doesn’t work for me here with Fescue, KBG mix. It can’t cut the previous track line. Thank you for the video. I’m going Honda has powered. I am keeping the 650CFM blower and string trimmer because are amazing.

Have a gen 1 self propelled ego and I love it... except for what your talking about! I can not get lift out of it and it sucks.

Got mine to fit by just trimming the brackets up until it hugged the rail enough to squeeze down nice and tight. Looking forward to trying it out tonight! I was going to drill the holes but really needed to be able to fold it up completely for the space I have to put it in.

I had the same issues with the ego mower select cut dual blade and the ego 2nd gen mower. I cut at 4 inches and both left Mohawks throughout the cut. I just got the toro 60 volt mower and have not had that problem anymore. Totally agree about egos hand tools... very good quality hand tools

WOW, I AGREE WITH YOU 100%. I loved my twin blade EGO at 1st, but then decided to return it after using a Honda and seeing the difference in cut Quality. If you bought this from Home Depot... DON'T SELL IT. I tried to sell mines on Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace listed for over a week and only got low ball offers.
