I feel for the lady, but after Hurricane Florence did it's deed, one should always worry about flooding, (particularly), in Brunswick County. Flood insurance or not, we got 23 inches of rain in 24 hours which wiped out numerous bridges and roads in the area.
Climate Change is making weather events more extreme. This will impact the worlds food supply. Floods, droughts, fires, excessive heat, snow storms and low water levels in reservoirs and in ground water storage are becoming more common. We must stop adding more fossil fuels to the climate fire. India, China, Brazil, Japan, US, Europe, Indonesia, Canada, Germany and Australia need to do more to reduce use of fossil fuels. They must stop building and financing more coal fossil fuels power plants. Time to go all in on wind and solar energy, battery storage and electric vehicles. Fossil fuels are a bad investment for people and the planet. Investors are divesting from fossil fuels. wind and solar energy investing is growing. The cost of dealing with the impact of climate change will be greater than the cost of reducing the impact. The world population is expected to grow by another billion people. Where will the food come from ?

The whole southern borders of The US is In danger ⚠️ of sinking A little rain 🌧️ should not Cause all these problems Look at Miami Sarasota, Fort Lauderdale, parts of Georgia, Alabama north and South Carolina all the way up the coast… I’m wondering if the 🌊 sea 🌊 is slowly taking The land? Unless not forget about Texas and Louisiana the entire southern border has this issue yet no one saying anything…. “The Domino Effect”
Always have a dry box in your car
Bye
Looks like a lot of water there to me Raymond Paul Sullivan III me myself and I and him RPS 111
As far as eye can see you lost me
those vehicles in the floods are totaled. New title {flood damage}. Salvaged title.
stop being on the damn road I am so sick of people not doing the right thing if there is bad weather stop driving
Those people being stuck in this heavy downpour leading to flooded areas has NOTHING to do with you!! So why are you so butt hurt about it?!?! 🙄
CLIMEAWARE is a good source of global flooding stories.
People need water and food. Get some to them!!! Or is the stores flooded too????
Please remember when you leave your house even for a trip down the road to make sure you bring your life saving medicine. Things like this can happen at anytime. Good luck everyone
Several people just dont get it
Everyone be safe God bless you all ✝️🕊️🇺🇸
Democrats love coastal flooding oceanfront property.
People don't realize that the basic necessities are in jeopardy. Medications for many, are in danger! No gas stations open, gas line flooded with water. No food shipments. And people telling me ... oh it will get better. Just you wait till T gets in or K gets in ... they will fix it! No one can fix it. The only remeady is God's Kingdom. Not just the areas affecte, worldwide. Once the U.N. takes over and crys out they have achieved their goal of Peace n Security worldwide announcements, then really quick, they will pounce on all religious institutions and those who support them. Once that has been accomplished, they will try to eliminate God himself. Wait and see, we truly haven't seen anything like this or will ever see again.
where is a food truck when you need one...state needed to dispatch port-o-potties.
you figure with modern computing technology that somebody somewhere would figure out how to model storms, pending rainfalls, and most importantly, areas that may flood...perhaps save a few rescues, let folks move cars, auto, boats RVs to higher grounds, fewer insurance payouts, fewer dollars spent on rescues. Seems insurance companies and city governances would demand such a thing.
The folks at the National Weather Center do model storms all the time and with super computers and yet because of unpredictable variability in weather it is still hard to accurately predict how the weather will behave all the time. But they do get it right quite often.
we don't make the event, we make it historical. This message brought to you by Global Warming.
Nice to see that somebody gets it.
@@extraart1And thank you. Global warming is real sadly.
We told yall to come up out of her my people that you be not a part of her sins and plagues! Selah!!!!!
THE ONLY REASON WHY I WOULD NOT LIVE IN NORTH OR SOUTH CAROLINA IS THAT THEY JUST DO NOT BUILD HARDENED HOMES BY THE COAST LIKE FLORIDA DOES! ITS JUST AS NECESSARY, AS WELL AS FLOOD MITIGATION! I WISH THE BEST FOR THOSE FAMILIES AFFECTED!
That's not the problem the problem is the fact is that humans keep burning fossil fuels releases carbon dioxide which is the primary gas that is overheating planet Earth 90% of all the thermal radiation just being absorbed in the world's oceans. That continues to cause the ocean temperatures take a break past the 86 and 90 degree range that continues to evaporate substantial larger volumes of water vapor into the atmosphere many continents have been hit by Major flooding pair the storm drain system of the 50s and 60s it's not designed to handle higher precipitation rates in many countries including the east coast and the Gulf States
I feel bad for these people, I hope they were able to get in touch with their families.
I used to drive a semi , I've driven through all kinds of weather . I had to park for a 10-hour break in many places I didn't want to be . I, too, Just wanted to go home .
These people will never comprehend that coastal areas flood. It's always historic weather with these people.
At one point they had 15” in 3 hours. That’s a historic pace up there. Down here we’ve had 2 historic floods in 2 years. I’ve been in multiple floods in S FL through the years but they didn’t have rainfall rates like the last 2. They were historic for that reason
@@mauallison7755 That's not historic.
Horrible @@mauallison7755
It never actually became a tropical depression. But, man, so much rain...😮
North Carolina doesn't usually have to deal with this level of rain and flooding. Plus, I don't think the residents were properly warned. I don't think the authorities were prepared for this. I'm in central N.C. and we got a tremendous amount of rain, inland.

Here in central NC, mint moths have wreaked havoc in my rosemary, thyme, mint, catnip and others. I usually put up with some pests, but ‘24 has been big problem with them. Originally thought was rhizoctonia blight. Anyone else?

Oh shoot I never finished the series gotta catch up. But K have a bad feeling they will mess it up.
It will be stupid
One tree hill is already finished it ended in 2012 so what the point and why now it doesn’t even make sense and one tree hill ended after Lucas and Payton left and I thought that Hilarie was done with tree hill so obviously she lied really it’s her own fault by leaving in the first place back in 2009 and now she wants to be part of it all again
Wow,can't wait
Overfishing....? Please! Their, completely made-up, numbers aren't exactly scientific. They have absolutely no idea how many fish were caught by recreational fishermen. Just like they have no idea how much flounder commercial fishermen DIDN'T take to the fish broker. The whole thing is a joke! WRC should take over the DMF immediately!
