@@cuete.408 I would use extreme caution ⚠️ Headliners are notoriously bad for any type of cleaner, even mild soap and water. The glue can let go and you get a mess. I’d check with a local upholstery shop or do some more research before trying to clean a headliner…

I’m not really trying to steer people away from this product, my intention is to point out that it works well if used as directed. It’s very effective and powerful, but in certain circumstances you have to be careful it doesn’t bleach or discolor. I’d test it on an area that doesn’t show so you know what it will do. Also, it dries out plastics so a protectorant is a must!
10 minutes in and I'm convinced I need to have my Pilot towed to the mechanic and let them do it. By the way, I have a sticker on the left side of my glove box that has the radio code. Mine's a 2010 EX-L RES.

Ok to use on boat vinyl?
I’d use it on a small non-conspicuous area to check for bleaching or staining. Overall it does good on plastics but I’d certainly follow up with a conditioner of some sort (NOT Armor All) that is appropriate for vinyl products…

I’m concerned about some people saying it dries out plastic over time. There are some vehicles that have cracked dashboards due to poor materials used from the factory, so I’m not entirely convinced that Armor All is the culprit. Use caution…upholstery is expensive!

I recently used Tuff Stuff and it did a great job cleaning the dirty seats on my car. However, I placed the can of Tuff Stuff cleaner on the roof of my car while I scrubbed the seats, and it damaged the paint and left a permanent circle mark on the roof due to the product had dripped down the can. The can was only on the car for a minute or two and I tried to clean it off immediately with soap and water, but the paint was already damaged. Luckily it is an old car. Tuff Stuff Cleaner might work to remove paint graffiti from walls. I love the cleaner, but learned my lesson about how powerful it really is.
Man, I’m sorry that happened. That stands as a lesson for us all, I guess you have to be careful not to get it on painted finishes. If you hadn’t pointed that out I wouldn’t have known until it was too late
I find it hard to believe that all those light switch markings are applied differently because they are backlit.Really looks like the same markings to me..
The wiper switch and other markings are silkscreened and will fade if care isn’t taken. Backlit symbols and markings are far more durable, but any cleaner needs to be careful evaluated before using. Tuff Stuff can be pretty stout….
Good tip, i only use tough stuff on carpet. I use a rinseless wash to do my interiors. I did not know Tough Stuff was so powerful.
It’s a good cleaner, you just have to watch out for colorfastness on some plastics, and follow up with a protective

Good advice Dan. Thank ya! My Dad used to clean his 87 Renault Alliance GTA with cigarette ashes and Diet Coke!!! I’d go behind him with a sand blaster and Tuff Stuff. Renault only put one ash tray in the car. Dad needed multiple at one time. He made the shift boot an auxiliary.

Thank you...all I was looking for was WHERE was the washer pump located on a 2006 Ford Fusion. I knew it had to be around the tank someplace but couldn't see it from the top. Now I know why! Jack the car up, take the fender liner off and it "should" be at the bottom of the tank!?
Question, do you absolutely have to take off the tire or is it possible to do it lifted?

Actually, I sold the F-150 over the summer and bought a 2011 Honda Pilot. However, the bulbs were holding up great, and I sold the truck to a couple from church. They haven't said anything has gone wrong with them, so I would say the quality has been good! 👍

From the 2013 model year and up, there was a complete redesign of the car. The location of the tank is similar, but I am not sure where the bolts are. There may be a video for that specific vehicle posted elsewhere, but if not, you can look at images of the washer tank to determine where the bolts are that need to be removed.
Mine had yellowed inside. It looks like the same upgrade I got. Unfortunately my side lights both cracked after just a little over a year. The headlights both had a film that peeled leaving behind a sticky film. The manufacturer said tough. I’m going to replace them again plus add in the 2 leds.
Wow....mine are still in very good shape. My Fusion is starting to get a little streaky, but it's 3 years old. Shame they can't make an assembly that holds up...

If you go on Amazon and search up 2000 Ford F150, there are loads...LOADS...of awesome LED bulb options! Pick a brand and upgrade, it's pretty easy and you'll love the result.

Actually, the issue was corrected a few weeks later, and the car has been great since. I had an agreement with Ford at the time that prevented me from driving the car...they provided a rental free of charge.
