This method also worked on a double keyed Medeco deadbolt that does not have a retaining ring.
Says without screws in the title, first thing he does is start unscrewing. Genius.
Hahaha… top RUclips comments!
What size hex key?
What size hex key ?
Try a 1/8, 7/64, or 3/32. If none of those work it may be stripped, you can always try an ez out. Let me know how it works out for you.
Dude lose the inbred hillbilly music
I have swallows nesting in my wood siding 😩
What size is the allen key?
Thank you. Great video and very informative.
It would be great except for the background music. I had a hard time hearing it
Why not spray foam first then fill or use your paint stick with globbing quit set glue to adhere the stick from the inside vs. a bunch of screws.
Awesome! Thanks, still helping 7 years later!
This is exactly the issue I'm having living in the woods with our woodpecker friends. Thank you!
Can’t hear him talking, nice music though
Turn the music down man.
This is the second home in which ruclips.net/user/postUgkx0jZ_lGlDVJhDnmagEU8gn47cmfPNlLQU we've replaced our "regular" doorbell with a Ring video doorbell and we really enjoy it. It is very easy to install and it works very well, with a clear picture through the app and good in-home use (we added the chime, which is also easy to install and doesn't require another thought to use).
lol what the hell kind of painting is this? 🤣
You sound like Mike row by the end
Thanks bro, I was about to lose my 💩
Speaking my language.
Get yourself a bucket and a screen. Get yourself a better roller nap and better roller frame. You don't have to cut and roll like you're doing. You can cut it in and roll it out tied it will be absolutely fine. You're making painters look bad and the job look harder than it is.
Loved both the video and the music!!!
Why denigrate the content with the annoying crap noise in the background? Made it half way through your content then switched to another video.
Patrick Grengs - to each their own! Glad you found help somewhere else! 😊
Wish you didn’t have music in the background
It’s good though
Too loud
How to stop birds from pecking?
Supriya dubey - the main reasons they are drilling is for food (insects) or nesting. Control the insects and offer other forms of housing are options, or you can try deterrents such as reflective streamers, hanging CD’s, or setting up an owl decoy may help.
@@vaoutdoorssportsman3555 thank you
The music is way too loud in this video I had to click away because I couldn’t really hear or focus on what you were trying to instruct.
It's trash
What's the size of the Allen key
Observador - Try a 1/8, 7/64, or 3/32. If none of those work it may be stripped, you can always try an ez out. Let me know how it works out for you.
Mine doesn't have alan key screws next to the bolt
Try removing the faceplate. Some models have phillips head screws underneath.

Happy it helped!
Thank god you made this video or I would have angle grinded the rest of these locks off! Thank you so much.
Thank god for this video!
You Da Man,. Saved me a locksmith fee.
Nicely done
I just want to tighten it NOT REPLACE it. Please comment if you are still here. Thanks.
Still here. Basically just the reverse of what I show to remove it. Remember “righty-tighty/Lefty-loosey”
Bro, after 4yrs+ , I am finally able to swap out my old deadbolt and SECURE my home. Thank you.
Great video. Straight to the point with no BS. Job well done!
Thank you so much!
2 months later its still drying???
😂
We have one that also has no screws on the bolt facing. Any ideas on how to remove that?
My home has 1/2" thick siding. I need to replace some pieces. I can't find any in 1/2" thick siding so is there something I can glue on the back to make siding 1/2" thick?
Wheel Rolling - I’d suggest taking a piece into your local lumber or home store to get the best match or figure a good alternative. Best of luck!
Trying to decide on which Behr paint to use on exterior (Hardi siding). Consumer Reports rated Marquee best for interior , but poor for exterior. Behr Premium Plus Ultra was rated best for exterior. Anyone used this? Appreciate any feedback.
Personally, I prefer the Behr Premium Plus for exterior. Make sure you follow the instructions and follow the prep directions.
Great video
I’m restraining my house should I sand it before I stain it? I pressure washed it and got all the old stain off and if so how much should I sand it? I’m very new at this just trying to save money haha
Alan Grimsley- really all depends on the condition of your wood and what you’d like it to look like after. It’s really personal preference too. If the surface is rough and the wood grain is “feathered” you’ll get fast stain penetration with a darker effect. The finer you sand the less penetration, the lighter the color. You may want to do some tests to see what you prefer.
Yeee haw, now I know what to do, thanks!!!!
zone47 - YES! Good luck!
better than the schlages....
Thankyou so much, I have the same yellow walls and want to paint gray. I'm glad I found you
Thanks!
Excellent 👌👌👌👌❤️❤️
Thanks! I was debating whether to try this, but I think I'll go with something else. Your walls look nice, but as a non-professional, I don't think I need to complicate my life with paint that's more difficult to work with. I appreciate the video!
Emily W - GOOD CALL!
Exactly what I needed!
No matter what the paint company says I am always doing 2 coats. I get a much better finish. The only time I'd consider doing one coat is if I tint the primer with the same color.
I've been a professional painter for 43 years and I'm still not good enough to get by with one coat. I've recently used this paint and wasn't overly impressed with it.
That's what I do,always tint the primer.
