I think you're talking about Palmer Lake in Brooklyn Center with the story about the man killing his wife. Story is similar to that. Apparently he killed her with a hammer and hung himself up in the trees just off the trail that wraps around the lake. Some kids eventually found him

I still remember the day i learned about Anthony's death. His dad and my dad were close, always going to the club together. It was so sad as my dad gathered up my siblings and i and told us about what happened. My dad disallowed us from going to his funeral, since we were young and very close. I rarely see his parents anymore, but when i do, they're totally different people now. RIP Anthony.
