Good podcast, sorry I missed it. Agree on most points - IMO we were the better team for the mass majority of the night. - NM played so well, created way better chances and any of those going in couldve made it 3-0 easy. - Agree with Kristina that we just do not have a born & bred striker. Not a forward or midfielder that CAN score, but rather a player that their sole job is to just stay up top and put goals into the net. We're solid in most other ways, especially this season, but yet again, we lack that Lewandowski, Kane, Mbappe, Haaland type player and it wouldve made all the difference in this game. - Dont understand why they had 12 men in stoppage, and the ref didnt add ANY extra time for the error, nor the keeper lying on the ground for 2 minutes. I definitely do not blame her for the match, but i do not think she managed a lot of it well. - Really feel for Zico. He made a mistake, he knew it, and you could see the heartbreak on his face and body language. Thats tough to go trhough, but I hope he is able to bounce back and shake it off, regardless of where he ends up next season. - LOVE that Rhode Island smacked Lou 3-0, you just love to see it. - I hope COS manages to send Lights home without a goal, just out of spite from NM lol. RI is super hot, CHS is always good, its going to be a great game either way. #FuckVegas - Hoping for SG improvement in 2025 for sure, need to get it back to the same feeling as in 2019. - Hoping that since Quill is on contract and brought in most of these guys, that they want to stay and win here. - STADIUM. I hope get more updates, more progress, and just move TF forward! Im sick of all the nimby hurdles and I hope they just keep crashing forward. We've played the nice game, we've tried meeting them in the middle, but its just never gonna be enough for these people. Might as well stop and just put all hte energy in moving it forward.

I am so infuriated that "hey ref, how about a timeout for nacho tots" is, effectively, a real thing that happened in this game

IWay too many giveaways, we kept giving them the ball so easy, so cheaply. Our attack was very weak, didnt take near enough shots or even put ourselves into the position to shoot. The passing looks nice and all, but its like they are running passing drills/pre-match warmup passing, which is to say passing without thinking, without intent, and without the desire to push the team forward. Its like they cant turn off the 'practice' mindset and get into a 'we need to win' mindset. Shakes could have done better, maybe, but this isnt on im, this is on the whole team. Hoping for better in Phoenix this Saturday! More importantly, we NEED to beat L Paso at home coming up! Somos!

I get the schedule cramping and fatigue for MLS, I do. HOWEVER, Leagues Cup, Concacaf, all those are really only for MLS. No lower league teams get a chance to shine on a big stage like that. If we(United) dont have Open Cup, then what other tournament do we have? None. We can win the west, win the league, and thats it. So thats why Open Cup is important, it gives us the oppotunity to get on a big stage against big opponents that otherwise wouldnt happen.

Welp. Hope all we want, he went to a rival team. Ugh, so, so sad, so disappointed.

We clinched early last year, that was nice going into the final game not as stressed for sure. We beat LAG2 3-2 and clinched. Final home game was COS. Also Im so over all of our post-seasons involving Sac or Phx, we need to finish higher and play other teams!

Quill was given MLS players (FC Dallas) when he coached North Texas SC. FCD wanted to make sure NTSC did well when it started. Since then they don't get any MLS players, and you see how the teams have done. 2 coaches have left, and now they are looking for another one.
