How to replace rear brakes on toyota camry

Today I will show you how to replace your rear brakes on your Toyota Camry. to get similar tools I have these links that I have tried and work great hand disk pad spreader amzn.to/3kiITaV better brake pad spreader amzn.to/3gARx2u 3/8 ratchet amzn.to/31qkebZ socket set amzn.to/30zywYI 14mm wrench amzn.to/2XxRCws
Draining the coolant from the drain cock will lessen the mess and keep the coolant cleaner if you are going to reuse it. It is a plastic housing. DO NOTE OVERTIGHTEN! And because of the eviromentalist wackos coolant is way to expensive. And Bring back R-12, the best and most enviromentaly friendly coolant ever. (They banned it because the Patent Ran Out).
❤ thanks 🎉
mine keeps overheating after its done should i do it with ac at full heat?
Question if anyone happens to see this soon. 2018 Camry just started running hot yesterday. In an inconvenient location and gonna just take the thermostat out and hope the thermostat is the problem so i can get back to civilization. Question is, should replace the water pump and the cooling bypass valve and thermostat at once? Don’t have a code reader with me so havnt checked codes yet
Typically thermostats fail open which would cause your engine to run colder, not hotter. Sounds like you have a plugged radiator or an issue with the water pump.
Awesome
No new gasket?
Gasket goes around metal flange on tstat
For clarification, a regular wrench doesn’t work. You have to get one of the ratcheting wrenches on

Cómo puedo observar el nivel de temperatura del motor ??
Is this the same technique for a 2018 Camry ?
Nice
Wrong coolant for Toyota
I wouldn't be as worried about the coolant as I would putting in that after scab thermostat.

Good job thanks
You need to get some more videos out my dude. Try and do some diag videos I love DIAG videos.. If you have to diag the car and reenact your findings its completely fine until you get comfortable. I love watching other techs thinking process. I had a 2006 cobalt come in with harsh shifting and no seedo today. I scanned it noticed the TCM ( transmission control module) was off line. I pulled a wiring diagram and went after powers and grounds. I noticed my ground was messing found a broken wire (actually 2 not sure what the other ground was) fixed and shipped it. I'm always curious on how other techs would of handled it. I see a couple youtubers that are not really techs. They come on change a part never say or show why other then the code or my favorite the customer wanted it. If a customer calls me for a repair I strongly recommend a diag first. If they persist on changing the part I do. No joking 85% of the time the part doesn't fix thier issue and I feel bad.
Thanks for the feedback! Yes I tried it out and I recorded some videos already and was gonna upload them everything got lost. Sometimes the customers just make it hard to record when they try to watch everything I do. But I’m gonna try to upload some more soon!
I totally understand about the customers wanting the part changed because they feel it will fix it. For me it’s because Autozone or Oreillys here in Texas tells them that’s the issue so they believe them and can’t get them to change their minds most times.
@@nandoproductions8894 trust me I understand. Also I try and tell customers the guy at Oriellys is making 10hr, the average tech is around mid 20s a diag tech is mid 30s so if he could diagnose your car from the counter with a 20$ scanner why is he/she working for 10$. It's sad because so many techs have ripped people off it's hard to gain trust. I've seen people pay for parts tgat wasn't even installed. I did a head job on a 2003 Toyota Camry with the infamous stripped head bolts. I felt so bad for this customer. The tech removed the head and replaced the gasket (he never sent the head out for cleaning, inspected and seals). He put aluminum foil in the head bolt hole to try and get the bolt to bit. When that didn't work the moron JB welded the head to the block. After all that the poor customer ends up buying a motor from the junkyard and that motors head gasket was also bad.
