Sherpa-Map is an innovative Cycling Route generation web application created by 3 roommates with many features others would charge for or simply do not have.
Including:
-28 routing profiles, (preference gravel routes/flat routes/hilly routes/etc.)
-Weather data plotted along route
-Google map layers
-unpaved surface breakdown/view
-unknown surface AI classification
-Automatic route generation
and so, so, much more

I think it's finally starting to look good enough to show off, I've managed to run this for a portion of Wisconsin, I still have further training and updates to do, but plenty of the challenging parts are behind me.

Overview of the web application sherpa-map.com a new cycling routing app that provides 28 routing profiles, AI road surface type classification, auto route generation, forecasted weather data along route, weather radar, projection of amenities such as cafes/public restrooms/etc. and so much more!
I just bought an e-bike that arrived yesterday (still have to unbox) but of course I was searching things like this for safer routes and I have to say, this tool for me is wild because I live in a city and plan to ride to work on weekends (approx 6 miles) it already detailed automatically a great and safe route but I was able to drag and manipulate it in a way that was even safer albeit slower lol but I'm okay with that, I'm riding for a reason and it's not to get there as fast as possible. The absolute BEST part about where I just moved to is theres a 17 mile park that's about 1 block away from me, on the weekends they also close the road access too. So I'm going to be getting it in lol Love the app, this needs a whole lot more love!
