I have a few other fun and exciting synth videos - take a look at the 4/9/22 video (if you haven't already) for a slightly different look at what synth players sometimes have to do in addition to playing the keyboard. Of course, his experience is going to vary depending on what equipment is being used. This video from 2021 uses hardware synths (basically, the sounds are built into the keyboard and are directly controlled from each keyboard) and in the video from 2022 we use a software called Apple MainStage which essentially allows any keyboard to use a sound processor from a computer, so the computer/laptop controls/changes all of the sounds. It's just a slightly different workflow but all essentially the same experience. As for the camera setup, it was pretty janky and elaborate back then due to equipment limitations, so this is my Lumix GH4 with a wide angle lens and a variety of clamping hardware to get it to connect to the cart. I'd highly recommend any sort of GoPro/action camera for stuff like this! It's compact and can clamp to both synth carts and on headworn straps for a cool POV perspective. Some advice, listen to everything your told, it helps so much in the long run. If your legs hurt after practice, lay down with your legs against the wall, works every time. Try your best to watch the drum major and make plenty of friends. Band is where you get many friends that you wouldn't get otherwise. Bets to take the chance to make some friends in the older grades so you can have someone to help you❤ sorry for this being so long, good luck!

@@RachaelMorales-nt4rt Do what section leaders tell you, look at drum majors, pay attention to little detail, focus on being better than the band's last year performance instead of being better than other bands. Its hard to compete against other bands and itll bring you down if your not Vandegrift or Hebron👍
