Depends on how the family members' minds work. Some of mine believe they have priveleges that others don't. If im in a pinch, yes, but if i need full-time help, I'd rather not.

I usually go the length of the ditch with the chute facing up. Depending on the pitch of the ditch, i dont try to mow all the way to the bottom with my mower because the side of the deck does cut into the ground. I usually have a strip 6"-12" wide that i have to hit with the trimmer. Honestly, though, whatever works best and leaves a good cut should be the way to go. I just feel like there are way too many lawn care providers that are scared of string trimmers and end up gouging properties because of it.

Everything you said was correct. If you value your time, energy and money get this blade. One thing of note though: it makes an absolute mess, sometimes you need to stop and think about which way you want the debris to fly, lol.

Id put that echo on the ground first that way you can mulch it together. Trim last from there on. Its been a scorcher up here boss.

I cut as safe as i can with the mower and usually the last strip ill trim it the deck sometimes scrapes the ditch and leaves a patch missing or a strip

You better stay off the driveway whenever possible, especially when it is wet.

Soaking the string supposedly helps keep the string from getting brittle.

String Trimming would be easier I do that on my properties first
