Interesting storyline. Elsa Lanchester is wonderful actor, but the role of a college president making the moves on an instructor in exchange for keeping a job is grounds for sexual harassment. Clifton Webb...plays a very pious character in everything I've seen him in. Love the Belvedere series...

I really enjoyed this deeply, I was adopted, I'm in my Seventies and just found my Birth parents, Mother and Father never married each other, They were already married to someone else, Many siblings, I'm now Whole, No more guessing, No more Void in my life, I am more like my Father.

Lately I've been having fun watching black and white movies, but this one is giving me a headache. The husband is way to gullible, the wife and daughter a couple of laughing hyenas. I'm actually starting to feel stress everytime he starts being taken advantage of again. I'm not even going to finish the movie.

This is like a remake of Letter To Three Wives. Great performances by all. I've never seen this before but wondered which brunette would get bleached, Patricia got it. No way Ruth could be blonde. All of these women have such wonderful voices. Between pictures they did radio and were trained to be voice actors. That's one of the many things that make vintage film wonderful Also with some seasoned character actors, Eleanor Audley as the warden, who had a long career in TV, Arthur, Franz, Larry Keating, Ted De Corsia, Leif Erickson, Frank Lovejoy as Duffy.

Original story- not a rerun of the same idea over and over…

By the time a newer audience in the 1960s and 70s had developed an appreciation for silent films, an estimated 90 percent of them were gone forever.
